With unique private access to the beach and stunning sunsets, you have the perfect backdrop to your wedding celebrations. The hotel is licensed as a wedding venue for civil weddings in a choice of glass-fronted ceremony rooms, as well as Victorian Summer House in the garden overlooking the sea. Our in-house wedding team has exceptional experience in organising wedding ceremonies and receptions, whether you’re planning a traditional white wedding or a more relaxed gathering.
Our experienced wedding team will be there on the day of your wedding to co-ordinate everything leaving nothing to chance – allowing you to relax and make the most of your special day! From a sumptuous wedding breakfast and elegant flowers to those extra special touches: perhaps a romantic harpist or a magnificent firework display over the sea to round off your wedding reception. We can’t wait to help make the wedding you’ve been dreaming of a reality.
The Cooden Beach Hotel’s lovely Bridal Suite has beautiful panoramic sea views, a fabulous Jacobean-style four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom with double shower and luxury toiletries. As newlyweds, you can dance the night away at your wedding reception and wake up in luxury, with a full English or continental breakfast and a relaxing swim and sauna in our Leisure Club.

November 2024Wonderful hotel situated on Cooden Beach. We stayed in one of the suites, which have a good sized lounge area, with chairs and a dining table. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. Thirty five minutes walk into Bexhill, which has an interesting range of independent shops and cafes. We dined in the restaurant and both dinner and breakfast were first class. Thanks to Barbara and the rest of the staff for making our stay one to remember.

November 2024Our stay at The Relais Cooden Hotel & Spa was absolutely wonderful! The beachfront location is stunning, and the thoughtful touches, like the doggy box with treats for my dog, made our visit extra special. The food was incredible—my main course, the Pan Roasted Cornish Cod Loin with wilted autumn greens and seafood chowder, was exceptional. The chocolate pudding was truly the best I’ve ever had! The spa experience was rejuvenating, and I left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

December 2024We treated ourselves to a night away at the Relais Cooden Beach and managed to get a sea view room that we could take our dogs to. The thoughtful touches of having dog beds, dog bowls and a box of dog treats provided in the room made including our dogs more special and staff were amazing in ensuring we could enjoy our night away with the dogs by setting up tables in the bar and lounges where we could eat with the dogs sitting under the table. Food was amazing and staff excellent and attentive at all times. Service was outstanding and we extended our stay with a Spa Treatment and afternoon tea with friends as we didn't want to leave. Overall our stay was amazing and we are planning our next visit

October 2024We went for Sunday lunch. The staff are amazing and it's a lovely place. The kids fish and chips we thought should have had some sort of peas or veg with it. Same as the roast, some greens would have been nice. But that said my beef was amazing but my wife's chicken was a bit cold. All in all a pleasant meal that could have been better for the price..

December 2024Had a wonderful pre Christmas lunch with the girls. Beautifully decorated hotel, spacious dining area and fabulous food. Service in the bar and dining area was excellent, particularly from the attentive Barbara who gave us great meal recommendations.
