I was not staying at the hotel but eating in the Leicester Square kitchen which is in part of the hotel. Love the food there and always go when I'm in that part of town to see a show or a movie. I believe the hotel is also very good, it's certainly in a great place if you're visiting London.

Let’s start with the positives. Great location. Breakfast included in our booking. Service was excellent in the restaurant and quality of food great. BUT this is not a 5 star hotel in my humble opinion. Very dated rooms and quite small. Bathrooms very dated and our room had a funky smell. Room servicing not up to standard.

I would like to point out that this is an honest review, made to prevent other customers like us from falling into these situations. We booked a Suite with two bedrooms, as per the photos and descriptions illustrated on the site and various portals. We were assigned a completely different room, located on top of the reception, therefore at the level just on top of the street, where we did not have the possibility of opening the windows, because the windows were fixed glass, and one room had opaque glass and therefore no external view. Terrible noise, you could hear everything, people talking in the street, vehicles circulating in the early hours of the morning, you could also hear it when you closed the entrance door of the hotel, since it made the bed bounce, all to the point of not being able to sleep. The room was very low and gave a sense of closure, The minibar is large but completely EMPTY (they make you leave a blocked deposit of the entire amount and they don't put anything in the minibar? Are we at a third-rate motel?), the heating fan very noisy, the general level of maintenance terrible. We asked for a room change immediately, but we were told that they had no other free rooms since they only have 4 Suites (or so they said) and two were like ours, so the ONLY alternative was to move to a much smaller quadruple room (which we didn't want from the beginning since we were 4, otherwise we would have found different solutions elsewhere and even cheaper.) We asked for more pillows and after asking for them over and over again, we were told that they didn't have any more, providing us with only 2 more on the last day. The breakfast was poor, with only one type of jam, there was no chocolate spread, poor quality croissants, no ham, no cakes. A disaster. We slept very badly and little for 3 days. Absolutely it's not worth the price paid. Because despite having reported the situation, and having always complained politely, we did not receive a discount on the end bill, or even an alternative solution, like we asked for example as two rooms on the same floor. If you sell a room in a certain way and with specific photos and descriptions and then you recive something else, it is not HONEST and in my house it is called Deception or rather Defrauding people. As evidence of all this, I attach detailed photos. For sure NEVER AGAIN, You made us live our 4 days of vacation in a terrible way.

The rooms were absolutely atrocious. We were upgraded to a ‘superior king room’ and we were so disappointed with it. The room wasn’t tidy, the lights flickered terribly and there were chippings all over the walls, not to mention the shower wasn’t far off completely falling off. By the sound of it, this hotel has been taken over recently and it needs a LOT of work. The fact this hotel was rated 5 star on google is disgusting and false advertising. We ended up staying there for 3 hours. I would not recommend this hotel!
