September 2024Booked an afternoon tea to celebrate my daughter’s 30th . Chose the £24 per head , what a disappointment! The table was set with 2 stained and cracked cups ( only fit for the bin !) We were very excited & hungry ! we had saved ourselves from lunch as we were booked in at 2.30 . The food came it looked nice but a bit sparse on 2 servers . We had 2 small sandwiches each (1 slice of white bread ) 1 small slice of sausage roll ( which by the way was one of the tastiest iv had ) I small prawn cocktail on a circle of bread ? 1 strawberry dipped in chocolate. 1 small scone and 3 small other fancies , 3 of which were untouched . Macaroons ! 2 glasses of Prosecco £17 , glasses being the smallest you can get ! Service was ok but no one around to pay at the end . Also a service charge of 11.30 was added without consent?? All in all a very disappointing £124.30 for 4 spent ! Will not be returning.
