I have been to the Pickle Factory for Daniel Avery and Richard Fearless’ “Goo” night a few times now. Always a nice crowd there for the music and a fun way to spend Sunday evening. Good sound, nice atmosphere and delicious margaritas on tap 🍹 The venue gets extremely warm - if they invested in air con it would be perfect. I reccomend bringing a fan, and preparing to get sweaty!

I will never come here again. The security was extremely disrespectful to my friend and I. They took away all our things, including our perfumes and contraceptive pills, terrible music and terrible vibe so we decided to leave. The security guard told us we couldn’t have our stuff back and let us squirm for a long while, before grinning and saying she was just playing with us. She seems to enjoy ruining people’s experiences. We had to just grab our stuff and leave. Never again. The price of the drinks was also awful, the cheapest was £7 for a small beer.

Instantly left as security made us feel really uncomfortable. The girl especially was really rude and indirect, treating us like idiots. I understand security are there for a function of protecting the peace, but they brought a horrible atmosphere to the venue. The Pickle Factory need to seriously rethink thier security staff as I won't be returning or recommending this place, which is a shame as its a good venue.

Awful ventilation makes for a terrible barely breathable experience for dancers. They have the fans but it feels like they are on about 10% power. Could be a great dance space if they cared at all about the people dancing there. Sweating not even moving, hopefully management sorts out the fans soon. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.
