Really enjoyed out stay here, I had read the moaning reviews and wondered if it was true but we had a nice clean big room, excellent breakfast and dinner, plenty of hot food provided. Yes the hotel is 'dated' with wood panelling and wooden staircase but that's the joy of it, it's not a modern premier inn, with no character.

Lovely hotel, we stayed here for a Paultons park break. The hotel was rustic though well maintained. It was very warm throughout the hotel including the rooms, we had to open a window to cool down in the evening. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The menu options were decent and the quality of the food was good, though a bit expensive for what we had. The service was excellent both I. The evening and at breakfast.

Me and my family visited here on Saturday for afternoon tea for my nans birthday. Beautiful hotel however very unhelpful staff and customer service was very poor. We had vouchers which we used for our afternoon tea however when we checked our receipt after paying the bill they had overcharged us. We proceeded to explain what had happened ed however they refused to give us a refund and told us it would take 10 days as it had to go through accounts. While talking to the staff about our issue they were laughing and seemed to find the situation very funny. There was also no manager present on site nor was there any member of staff who knew how to do a refund on a card machine meaning when we finally got hold of the manager after many complaints and phone calls the staff didn’t know how to do our refund. The afternoon tea could have been improved. Was not a good experience. Check your receipts as apparently it was our fault.
