Went to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. When we arrived we went for a punt round the moat (independent) it was a lovely start and a great way to look at the hotel and grounds. Checked in our 3 rooms located in the main building all were different, one had a four poster bed, apart from the usual tea and biscuits there were flowers, chocolates and champagne in our rooms, the views out windows were lovely, and evening meal and breakfast were very good. Would recommend to anyone looking to go for a special occasion or just because you want to go somewhere atmospheric and delightful.

We stayed in the Lady Craven room and it was utterly amazing. We will return for our next anniversary. The bar food was great and the whole hotel was extraordinary. Parkland was beautiful and made for a great walk before the five-star evening meal.

Recently had a 2 night stay for a family celebration. Our room was lovely, full of character and charm in keeping with the age and history of the property, could do with a tiny bit of decorating in small areas where paint work was a little tired. There was copious amount of hot water for showering and decent water pressure. We booked the private dining area for our celebration with a three course meal. The room had been decorated beautifully and drinks and canapés on our arrival were included. The food was delivered hot and tasted delicious…we were all delighted with the taste and quality! The service was also excellent, friendly, polite and attentive. In fact the staff from beginning to end were all excellent. I highly recommend Coombe Abbey.

Had a family celebration there over the Bank Holiday weekend. Staff were brilliant and the location and room terrific. None of us stayed overnight so can't comment on the bedrooms. Overall, a lovely place and a great experience. Special mention to Lucy and Tom for great service.

Absolutely stunning location. We went for a 2-Night's B&B+Wine. The room was very relaxing and the dinners and breakfasts were a delight. All staff were very polite and happy to help with and questions/requests or directions. We had booked Spa treatments as well and these are actually not onsite but are provided by David Lloyd Spa which was a short 10 minute drive (Just something to be aware of) (The Spa though was great and highly recommended). This is a great location for relaxing as well as some nice garden walks.
