March 2025Wonderful hospitality for the Brighton Half Marathon this weekend. Hotel was fully booked so check in was a little slow but staff were upbeat and doing their best to get through the queue as quickly as they could. They also changed the breakfast opening times to earlier to accommodate runners which was massively appreciated, and to top it off had complementary water, bananas and porridge in reception for a grab and go breakfast if needed. All things they didn’t NEED to do but was majorly appreciated. Hotel room was fine, a little dated but that’s shown in pics so no surprise. Room clean and bed super comfy. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

February 2025Bit of a disappointing experience in our recent stay here. First of all our room felt like it was shoved in a corner having to walk through 3 sets of doors to get to it - with zero view of anything out the window. On the first night the staff had a party playing incredibly loud music until midnight. The breakfast was decent but there was issues with the doors and heating. There was also only one lift working at the time. The stay was fine but just a few easy things that could have maybe been done better.

February 2025Good for parking, but not having a functional lift made moving luggage difficult. Rooms were smaller than what appeared in the advertised pictures due to focus and perspective imagery tricks. No courtesy coffee at the lobby and the reception staff were hit and miss; offering Chinese lunar gifts to customers but not to me.

February 2025The hotel itself was very convenient to all the main attractions. The rooms were spacious and well equipment. The shower wasn’t very powerful which was disappointing. The hotel had no heating, there was plug in heaters everywhere but it was still freezing inside. Monday I ate my evening meal with my coat on. From such a massive brand as The Holiday Inn I did expect at least an apology or a good will gesture for future stays within the hotel group

February 2025Location is great and it's reasonable value but the rooms are grim. Found twiglets or something on the sofa, the curtains are too small so no lay in allowed, coffee machine didn't work either which when you wake up at 6 45 from sunshine, a coffee would have helped. 2 star only. There are better places to stay
