First off, this review goes out to Urvashi for taking care of us. When we checked in we had an issue with the room, and immediately upgraded us for the issue. That’s exactly how it should be. Customer service was pleasant, fast, and exceeded our expectations. From the outside, the hotel looks run down, but once inside the ‘rundown feeling’ goes away. I hope they renovate the outside in the future. Overall that smile and simple gesture changed everything for us, and we couldn’t be more happy. I should mention that the food at the restaurant was excellent too.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Only let down is the amount of time it takes to check in. Seemingly the receptionists have to go through 20 screens to check you in. Makes the arrival at the hotel a less than great experience. Food is good. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are nice.

I had to put this up. I have never been in a Premium Marriott hotel with this bad of a hotel. First, the room is dated and the heating doesn’t work well. Power goes out and reset everything all the time. Staff are really bad and don’t care. I see staff in the hallway just on their phone with hot food to deliver and they are just sitting talking. My room didn’t get clean properly ( for 2 days I had to body wash ) had to call in 2 times to get this fixed. No care for anyone even with holding one of the highest status in Marriott I wasn’t attended too. Management is out of this world. Didn’t even bother to apologize or even come by to check. Never again

If I could rate 0 I would. The reason for my rating is because the hotel tried to charge my husband the day after our wedding damage charges of £400 for a table he a) did not damage (nor could the hotel provide any evidence of this on CCTV or elsewhere) and b) which was worth far, far less than £400 (this is besides the point as he did not even cause the damage as he was with me asleep after our wedding day!!). The staff were rude, antagonizing and quite frankly I feel they were trying to exploit us for their own benefit. Charging someone for something they did not do is FRAUD. Absolutely disgusting and a stressful start to our first day married properly. There was one staff member, a woman who's name I have but who I won't write as I'm not as unkind and rude as she is to try to ruin her reputation, who was particularly obnoxious. She goaded my husband, I and our guests and I have her name should management contact me or care enough to do so. Also, it is worth noting around 60 of our guests stayed at the hotel - the Marriot REFUSED to do a group booking for us yet they were claiming that we were part of one group so if another guest caused damage to the table it is on the groom of the wedding they attended to pay. How does this make sense?! Each guest booked their own room so each guest is accountable for their own actions. Absolutely unfathomable how ridiculous the staff are there and their complete lack of social skills, hospitality skills or just humanity is laughable. The management need to train or rehire their staff as most are not trained to be in hospitality. If you want to be ripped off and conned then book here otherwise avoid.
