March 2024Stayed here over weekend for two nights and can't fault the place one bit. Not only is the hotel stunning and within a fantastic location, but the staff are amazing and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Check in was a breeze and was given access to our room in no time. The room itself was well maintained, clean and had everything we needed with an amazing view of the castle. We had breakfast with in the hotel and the service we received was perfect, staff were always on hand and nothing was too much trouble. Overall would highly recommend this location to anyone who was looking at staying.

January 2024An outstanding stay from start to finish. From the benefits of online check in and digital room key via the Hilton App through to the extra personalised touch of regular text check in before during and after our stay from Karen and the concierge team, all our needs were met. The room was comfortable, well appointed and with great views of the castle. All the amenities were high quality and little touches like turndown are appreciated. We chose a lie in over breakfast, but did enjoy a nightcap in the bar with a great cocktail. Overall a superb hotel, every aspect made for a great stay and we will definitely return.

January 2024Fantastic hotel. The staff at check in were lovely, the room we had was fantastic with great views and a comfy bed plus incredible bathroom. This was our second stay and it was even better than the first. Amazing tea and scones in peacock alley. Lovely turndown service, fantastic service from Karen and Erin over text message during our stay. The breakfast was pretty epic with lots of attentive staff and amazing lattes. Pool was great too with friendly spa staff. Worthwhile staying, especially if a top Hilton honours member.

March 2024The hotel is truly a remarkable destination. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with luxurious and elegant surroundings that exude class and sophistication. The staff is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is nothing short of perfect. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the city. The dining options are exceptional, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Overall, the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh Hotel provides a top-notch experience that will leave you wanting to return again and again. Special thank you to Roqaya ( Reception ) and Sandra ( Spa ) for the incredible service.

March 2024My visit to the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh....Where do I start? I love the perfect attention to detail from the moment you enter, the perfect castle view, and fantastic staff that make sure you are pampered and feel special every single moment you are there- even when you are out working or shopping. The atmosphere is full of history and the hotel has managed to preserve the beauty of the building and inject modern details, in the rooms, restaurants and the lovely spa. In spite of my being very busy during my visit, the staff made sure that I felt like I was on holiday instead of business. They are always helpful and ask if there is anything you need- and believe me- they really care. My room was wonderful and even had a yoga mat and block so I could make the most of my stay. The friendly housekeepers made sure that my room was dream like every day and every breakfast in Grazing by Mark Greenaway had me longing for more. In the evenings the gorgeous bar and restaurants offer both informal and formal elegant dining, so it was perfect for business meetings and also an opportunity to enjoy fabulous Scottish dishes. I could have stayed longer, and long for my next visit! I will be back :)
