Centrally located it is ideal for touring the many Scottish border towns and the places of local interest including Floors Castle, Dryburgh Abbey, Melrose Abbey, Abbotsford House, home of Sir Walter Scott and Bowhill House and Country Estate home of the Buccleuch Family.

Featuring ​20 individually styled comfortable rooms some with mezzanine floors, balconies overlooking the gardens and spa baths we offer a truly relaxing stay.

Family accommodation is available in the lodges and garden rooms.



The Restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere using the best of local produce. Open daily serving lunch and dinner. Light lunches are also available in the bar.

The Linglie Suite is the perfect Wedding Venue in the Scottish Borders. Accommodating up to 160 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 guests for a evening reception.

    We have eaten here several times with varying levels of satisfaction. We've never stayed here though friends have reported favourably on the accommodation. It's not always clear when the hotel is open. Tip: pull hard on the front door - it's very stiff.
