    I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton London Angel Kings Cross and had a delightful experience. The hotel’s prime location near Angel tube station made exploring London a breeze. The room was spotless and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day in the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met promptly. The on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu, and the breakfast buffet was both extensive and delicious. I particularly appreciated the warm cookie upon check-in—a signature DoubleTree touch that added a personal feel to my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations.

    Really nice hotel and very reasonably priced for London. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean but a little banged up in spots (scuffs and towel hooks coming from walls). The beds were comfortable and spacious. Location was convenient for the 38 and 19 bus. Cookies upon check-in were a lovely detail. Would definitely stay again.

    A nice hotel, good location. Pillows are very soft and flat, need newer pillows. The breakfast quality has declined somewhat. Reliance on a coffee machine which produces really bitter, poor quality coffee isn't a good move in my opinion. Staff helpful and friendly.

    My experience was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was assigned an old room where the heating did not work. To make matters worse, there was no adapter available for charging my phone and other devices. When I approached the reception desk for assistance, the young lady there suggested the best option was to leave my phone at the reception. This was quite surprising and not the assistance I expected. Additionally, the bathroom only had a single towel provided, despite the fact that we had booked the room for two people. However, I must commend Wilson, a staff member at the hotel, who went above and beyond to help me find a suitable adapter. He brought me one, then quickly returned with another when the first one didn't work. His effort was truly appreciated and made my stay a little more bearable. In contrast, the recommendation from the receptionist, Marta, to purchase an adapter was not what I would consider a good customer service solution. Overall, while the location is good, the service and facilities did not meet my expectations. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the experience for future guests.

    Room mattress is too old and has sinked down, lost its shape. Maintenance came up to take a look, and front desk called back later saying other room is like that as well.. and said we are leaving tomorrow.. I insisted that if the room is free then i can try to live with it, but I paid for this room.. so they are currently looking for a solution… and it’s currently 9pm… you shouldn’t treat an Hilton Gold member like that… Update: finally switched to another room at 10pm. Only gave me the room immediately after I went down to reception.. new room mattress is fine and comfortable. However headboard is oily, also found a random straw in the room. see picture for details. Due to the fact that it’s already 11pm, and had switched to a second room, I wasn’t going to complain and move to a third room. Will never stay in double tree by Hilton again.
