Bella Italia Edinburgh Hanover Street

The restaurant was nice and cosy. A few of the tables are close together so there isn't much space or privacy, but the staff were lovely and very hardworking, and the food was delicious. It was a little expensive in comparison to other restaurants we ate in during our time in Edinburgh, so if you're on a budget whilst traveling it might not be the best option.

Great restaurant with good food. I've eaten at several Bella Italia before and this is a great experience, good food and the atmosphere was good too. The guy who took us in was friendly and professional taking notes that we had allergies in the group. The waiter was a bit more stressed and we had to repeat several times that we had allergies in the group, that's why I'm dropping a couple of stars. This is also a bit more pricey than the other Bella Italia restaurants as well but still worth the price.

Visited recently with my partner, we both ordered the spaghetti bolognaise (one regular and one vegan alternative). When the food arrived it looked good however, the vegan meatballs were still frozen in the middle - clearly frozen portions which had not been properly reheated. Overall disappointed with the food which was not only frozen but also overly priced for a microwaved meal. Service was good. Was offered a free dessert for the inconvenience. Would not recommend.
