September 2024I was prompted by Google Maps to do a review at an inconvenient time, but now that I can sit down, here we go! The staff was friendly, informative, and patient. The HMS Trincomalee is an impressive vessel even 127 years after being decommissioned. Now its masts are a fixture of the Hartlepool marina skyline and well worth the visit if you even have a modicum of interest in history.

September 2024Really nice place to visit with the family. You do have to pay to get access to the historic quay side, but you get a fair amount to see and do once through, including tours of the ship and live demonstrations.

July 2024I had not been here since I was 13, not long after opening, so I was due a visit. I enjoyed my visit, looking around the ship and displays, I also enjoyed the museum. I gave 4 stars because some of the displays are looking tired, and the number of light bulbs not working in the displays is unacceptable. It's not hard to change a light bulb. The cafe was good with reasonable prices and friendly staff. I shall return.
