April 2025Impressive Contemporary Art Museum—with a Dim Twist It’s a great museum of contemporary art—massive in size with beautiful high ceilings and really interesting interior architecture. There’s plenty to explore: multiple merch shops, and even a bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine at a reasonable price (always a win). The art pieces are intriguing and diverse, but honestly… where’s the light? Some rooms were just too dim to fully appreciate the works. Put the lights on, guys—we want to see the art!

April 2025Always love whenever I visit this modern art gallery it's been a handful of times and always feels like it's my first time. The gallery has ongoing free collection displays, and theres exhibitions that usually last several months that have concession tickets. There is more than one shop, plenty of toilets, escalators, a cloakroom, a water dispenser, and a cafe/bar. Recently visited the Electric Dreams: Art and Technology Before The Internet Exhibition. It explores the early innovators of optical, kinetic, programmed, and digital art. Features sensory installations and automatically-generated works. Also, with works of vintage tech art and psychedelic environments created in the 1950s & and 60s.

March 2025The Tate Modern was an enjoyable part of our visit to London and conveniently close to our hotel. While it was busy, it never felt crowded. We really appreciated the way the museum was designed. The flow through the space allowed us to access each display with ease, without ever feeling stifled by people around us. The layout by floor made a big difference too, breaking up what could have been long stretches of hallway into more digestible and engaging sections. Every room had its own atmosphere and breathing room, which made it easy to linger where something caught our attention. The gift shop was cute and full of thoughtful and creative items. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to spend a couple of hours immersed in modern art in a space that is both spacious and welcoming.

March 2025I'm a big fan of both modern & contemporary art but there was just something missing for me here. Maybe because we did not book any tickets for the limited exhibitions, which seemed more interesting to me! But it was still a good time, the installations were amazing and there’s also some cool interactive things.

April 2025This score is a more a personal reflection - to me this isn’t art. But can see why some people might like it. Some fruit on a stone is meant to be art? If this is your thing you will love it. Staff though are super friendly and the building is amazing. Plus it’s free to get into about half the rooms which is always a bonus. We didn’t explore the paid rooms
