Barbie Green, lies within the remains of St Alphage Church and section of the original City of London Wall, dating back to the 2nd Century. Although historically British, the site of Barbie Green also perfectly encapsulates the characteristically Australian “outside in” feel thanks to fully retractable glass windows opening up onto over an acre of ancient gardens.

Just like its sibling sites, Barbie Green will offer residents and those who work in the area alike the perfect spot for the first coffee meeting of the day, to enjoy a casual brunch, or to indulge in evening alfresco drinks. Unique within the Daisy Green Collection, Barbie Green will also offer fire baked, Roman style thin and crispy pizzas all day.

On weekends, diners at Barbie Green will be able to enjoy the Collection’s famous all-day bottomless brunch offering, alongside two new dishes exclusive to this site.

Adorned with four huge Barbican meets Bondi-inspired artworks by “Bonnie & Clyde” alongside colourful works by Grazie, Shuby and Paul Robinson, Barbie Green combines relaxed, light Australian design with cutting edge art. With intimate seating for 40 internally and an expansive alfresco terrace, Barbie Green is set to be a truly buzzing inner City oasis.

The mushrooms on sourdough is superb. I swapped the vegan cheese for their homemade lebnah. It has a great chilled vibe. Service is slow. Good for groups, pram friendly and really nice outdoor seating

I had lovely time with girl friends here. The location is 10/10. The cafe is bright and airy and peaceful on the weekend as there are no offices opened. It's not that spacious indoor but they managed to squeeze tables in and also more seating outdoor. I can imagine on a sunny day, this place will be jam packed. The service was great. The staff were friendly and attentive. There were only 2 FOHs which at times felt like we had to try to get their attention. I hope they have more staff when it's busier! The food was good. We all had different dishes. They came in good portion - not so big but not too small and everyone said the flavours were good. The mushroom toast looked delicious and I would recommend anyone to try! I went for granola bowl which delivered what it says on the menu. It was simple. Good amount of granola with dried fruits, toasted almond flakes and coconut. It's not overly sweet. Some fresh berries added a bit of freshness to the bowl. Do I feel like this is worth the price? Big question. I can't deny that the price is a bit pricey which would make me hesitant to visit here again, having been to many other cafes (in the similar area) that can offer more creative menus for the price, or offer similar quality brunch menus at a more affordable price. I thought of it as I paid for the atmosphere which is one of their selling points. And I can promise that you won't be disappointed if you're looking for a beautiful cafe that nails good vibes that will impress anyone. The coffee price at cafes in London hover around the same range so I wasn't surprised, but £3.80 for breakfast/earl grey tea was absolute wild for me. My only comment would go to the toilet. It's a bit specific but I found that the toilet was way too dark. There's only ambient, very low lighting and doesn't serve any visibility. I couldn't find any light switches. This isn't so great for people with sighted issues! (They're nice, clean and very pretty toilet btw). Overall, good cafe with fantastic atmosphere. Perfect for hangouts with friends, dates, and special occasion. Food isn't the star of the show but still deliver good quality and delicious dishes.
