I went to see 42nd Street and Chorus Line. The costumes and choreographies were superb. I also enjoyed South Pacific 3 years ago, the acting and songs were fantastic and I didn't watch the movie that inspired the musical. A pleasant surprise. The theatre is huge, not comparable to the theatres on Strand so pick a stall or bring binoculars if you like to see the faces of the performers. The advantage of seats on the upper level is that you get a great visual when it comes to ballet sequences or dance ensemble performances

This theatre location is nicely tugged away from central London but very easy to get to and directed by excellent signage coming out from the Angel Tube station at a short walking distance. It's a medium-sized theatre with friendly security checks. The show we saw was brilliant (I know the review is meant for the place, not the show 😊) and really enjoyed the theatre experience.

The venue has great seating and the leg room is generous and you get a good view pretty much every where in theatre. This weekend I sat in the 2nd row from the stage, was expecting bad obstructed views and neck ache, was very surprised to find great a great view of the stage and no neck ache at all, not bad when my seat was £30 whilst the seat directly behind was £100+. They do have a bar and sell snacks but don't expect anything special. They do have a small cafe in the adjacent building though which I quite like. Added bonus is there is plenty of parking in the near vicinity which is free after 1830 and on weekends.

Went to see Acrobatic Swan Lake performed by Chinese troop. Venue is quite simple. It's not a grand decorated venue. Come for the performances. This one was very nice. This is all about the acrobatics. Some amazing balancing and strength displays. Costumes were beautiful. Less about the ballet but thats to be expected. Nice evening out.
