Ferdie Ahmed’s quartet of London cocktail bars are inspired by the music, art and food of Hispanic ghettos around the world. This venue is the original and can be hired out exclusively for events. Reclaimed materials and hacked-up vintage caravans create a street-culture vibe – while the food and drink adopts a decidedly Latin flavour. Samba dancers and capoeira performers can be booked to entertain guests, and photo booths are available to capture the occasion. The 20-capacity La Caravana is a good spot for tequila tastings or rum and chocolate pairings. DJs and live music are another entertainment option.

April 2024I took advantage of the great happy hour cocktail deals and enjoyed a couple of gorgeous English Doves as well as a very tasty and well priced taco. Each time I have visited, the staff are super friendly and chatty.

May 2024Went to this place exclusively for food as it is rated quite highly and the dishes looked great on the website. At the branch in Angel, it is clear that the food is an afterthought and is aimed for a drinking crowd. The tacos were of a very low standard and the cocktail portions were very small. The lady serving us couldn’t have been nicer and very helpful. The barman was quite unfriendly.
