London's ‘best new spot for culture’ according to Time Out, Woolwich Works opened in 2021 and is the perfect marriage of heritage and modern design.
Both historic and contemporary, grand and intimate: Woolwich Works boasts a series of newly restored, Grade II and II* listed buildings. The spaces retain many of their beautiful historic features but being a brand new restoration, they are also equipped with sleek modern touches and every state-of-the-art technical necessity.
With stunning views over the river, a bright, airy atmosphere throughout, and the ability to combine indoor and outdoor space, our flexible spaces are perfect for conferences, product launches, immersive experiences, away days, meetings, wedding receptions, parties and much more.
Our smallest studio, perfectly formed. At 11.4m x 8.6m, the Coopers Studio isn't exactly small, but it is our smallest space.
With windows overlooking the wide pedestrian boulevard that runs through the Royal Arsenal estate and a high, vaulted ceiling supported by original timber roof trusses, the space feels light and airy. To the western side there's an internal window (with blind) overlooking the Fireworks Factory main space, making it also suitable as a support space for larger events.
The space is lit by prismatic glass factory lights, with technical power and facilities panels at either end. A PA system suitable for playback and light speech use is permanently installed in the room, which also includes an upright acoustic piano.
The Coopers Studio is accessed via lift or stairs leading directly from the main entrance foyer, and there's an adjacent accessible shower and toilet.

December 2024Spacious, entertaining, Fun, and overall amazing! First came in to use it as a work space as they provide many many charging port spaces without the hassle of buying anything either! Usually out of courtesy people get a coffee or tea which again tastes good, is made with care and is brought right to your table :) the prices I would say are in the medium range for coffees and teas but still worth the price. The interior looks very nice, slightly rustic with hints of classic cafe design. Toilets are very well kept. Staff superb with communication and making sure everything is running smoothly and let’s not forget the massive amount of entertainment that goes on there for a reasonable price of entry as well as free events simply for everyone’s enjoyment. I would highly recommend to check this space out if you’re a young adult, student, or just like cozy coffee spaces right by the Thames where you could take a stroll afterwards having your coffee :) Overall a wonderful experience every time I’ve visited here which has been probably around 50-80 since finding this spot earlier last year

November 2024Went to the annual Contemporary Print Fair at the Woolwich Works. Massive space for events. Close to Woolwich tube station, very convenient on the Elizabeth Line. There’s a cafe/ restaurant which served food and drinks and another bar inside that only served drinks. Toilets available. Parking available.
