I recently enjoyed a fantastic Caribbean Sunday dinner at Bank Restaurant in Wolverhampton. The flavors were rich and authentic, making the dish a delight. The cocktails were equally impressive, perfectly balanced and refreshing. The warm ambiance and friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a flavorful meal and great drinks!

It's not often I struggle for words but trying to describe last night has me stumped. Looking through the window we saw two customers a singer and a few members of staff, we were going to pass by but we're beckoned in by a young lady working so we thought, why not? AND in we went. The place inside is really nice, clean and well presented. Getting to the toilet felt like being in the crystal maze but not traumatic. Got to the bar I ordered a Guinness, my wife asked what cider they had on draft "hundreds" was the reply, pointing to the tap my wife said she'd have half a pint of one only to be told "that's out of stock" so she opted for a half a lager. My Guinness was poured and I've seen more life in roadkill, to be fair to the bar staff they didn't try to pass it off so I also opted for a lager which was a mistake because it was foul... This is where things got weird. £9:50 for a pint and a half of (foul) lager, my wife offered the bar staff £10 to be told they've got no 50p's so I gave her 50p thinking she'd get £1 back only to be informed they had no change at all in the til so was offered a shot of our choosing (thinking a shot for 50p? OK!!) then we're asked if we want one shot or two? Made our way to a table to enjoy the music, the singer 5 stars, playing to an almost empty room and managing to perform as if it was packed takes some doing. As we were leaving he popped over to have a word and thank us which was a really nice touch. Given our experience at the bar I can't see us rushing back unless the live entertainment draws us in while passing but we're kinda glad we've at least experienced it once.

We went out in the evening to this place for an exclusive event which was the RnB night, so we bought tickets for this night. The venue itself was lovely and spacious, nice seating areas, the security on the door were all friendly and welcoming. The bar did have quite a wait for drinks, so slow on service. My main issue was the toilets, they were the worst I’ve ever seen in a venue like this, firstly all the toilet seats were broken or out of place , secondly non of the doors locked so u had to hold the door. The my main issue was there was no soap anywhere to be seen, which is unacceptable for a place that’s charging for you to attend an event, so the facilities were extremely poor especially if they serve food during the day time, not very hygienic.

Arrived at 7 for a family meal with over 60 of us and the meals had been handed in before anyone had arrived si they knew what everyone wanted especially as there was children, was advised tables weren't ready which was fair enough there was a lot of us. We finally sat down at 8pm and they had put our names on each set of tables which I thought wow really organised However we had a table of 12 and table of 11 all on the same table that held 12...... However between us we sorted that problem accidents happen Food didn't come until 840 for our table by this point I had my nephew fast asleep on me as he was shattered. Can't deney the food was absolutely beautiful for our table However at 9pm we looked round and noticed out of 60 people there was only 12 meals that had arrived! Our family was asking constantly where is our food and by 930pm people were walking out refusing to wait anymore as they were starving as it was expected around 7/730pmAround 9:40pm we asked for the pudding because the 4 children on our table were absolutely shattered but wanted there pudding before we went home. At 10:15pm our puddings finally arrived meanwhile the table next to me were only just recieveing there meal and still half of the family hadn't even eaten! The meal one of my family members that came out during my pudding, I nearly choked on my ice cream! He picked up his rice to show the waitress and literally it all came together like it had glued itself together, he called her over to obviously show her yet still she asked twice if he wanted it swapped rather than I'll get that changed I'm so sorry personally I thought that would be obvious that it needed changing straight away especially when it was 10pm and he had only just had his main. It was meant to be a private hire whilst we ate our food and people were walking in and out with no one checking if they were for our party and at 930 they allowed anyone in even more so because we had hired for 2 and half hours. Well obviously we hired for 2 and half hours to allow people to eat yet only 1 table had done and they still hadn't had there pudding I had to leave at 10:40 as the children had, had enough still some of our family hadn't eaten and the cake for my 2 family members hadn't even been brought out so we missed the 'celebration' as such! Thankfully we had a lovely night because albeit angry at the lack of organisation and half starving it was lovely as a get together to be able to have us all. However as a restaurant that had been asked can they cater for this amount and being told yes it was a complete disaster. Half the meals were the same food so it would of made more sense to cook a batch when clearly they were cooking per table but just couldn't keep up with the demand like they say they could. Before I left I went to the toilet They need REFURBING!The disabled toilet on the floor didn't work and the normal toilets are down a flight of stairs when going down the stairs there are no signs so I spent a few seconds playing a guessing game as to what door I'm supposed to go through When finding the ladies toilet they were horrific No locks on the door No toilet roll holder as you could see where it had been ripped off and even worse no toilet paper!!!! Thankfully I was the only person in the women's so I shouted my partner to bring me some from the men's as you could hear him in there (there is no privacy at all) As said above our food was beautiful but the actual organisation and lack of caring from the head staff was unreal and I defo wouldn't recommend especially to large parties the main reason I gave 2 stars is personally because of my food but the rest was awful!
