A dream venue to photograph a wedding at! The day ran smoothly thanks to the coordinator's involvement, the food was excellent, the building has a rustic charm, and the grounds are lovely even though the weather wasn't great. A top location and would recommend to all couples. Thank you to the team for looking after myself and my assistant so well.

Cripps always delivers! Sensational food, considerate and organised staff, a great setting with wonderful spaces both inside and out meaning it suits weddings anytime of the year. I captured Charlotte and Dash's wedding in May where they were lucky enough to hold their ceremony outside and had drinks on the terrace with garden games setup for guests. The barn is very atmospheric and is well appointed for hosting the wedding breakfast, there is a separate area of the barn for the dancing, meaning the room doesn't need to be turned around before the party starts! There are also plenty of locations to take couples for photos: around the barns and gardens, or even into the nearby field. I can highly recommend this venue!

Stop thinking about booking Cripps and just book it. Yes Cripps Barn is stunningly beautiful and a perfect venue - you will see this for yourself. Yes the food will be the best wedding food your guests will ever have - you'll find this out yourself at one of their feast nights. But the bit that won't be obvious until the day is how calm Cripps will make you feel. You might think that Cripps is a touch expensive and you might be tempted to try somewhere cheaper but similarly beautiful, or even to use a dry venue. However, I can't describe the value that the organisation and professionalism of Cripps had on our enjoyment of the day. This leads on to Emily, our wedding coordinator. Nothing was too much effort, she was unflappable - despite the endless, very specific requests from us. In the build up we had our meeting and call to run through details and on the day I dropped off our various decorations and went through the specifics. Emily was all over it like it was the easiest thing in the world. When I turned up a few hours later for the ceremony everything was done to perfection. She kept us calm and relaxed and ensured we enjoyed every moment, taking us off for a quiet moment after our ceremony so we could breathe. We weren't worried about the cake table, or the band set up or whether the bridesmaids had the confetti - it just got done. Emily was present throughout the day but never in our space nor commanding much of our attention, she struck the balance perfectly. It's clear that Emily loves her job, which showed through the whole day. But one moment where this was particularly evident, that we only saw after, was during my wife's speech. Esther had written a song to perform on the piano, and we filmed it. In the background of the video you can see Emily, hiding at the back with a huge smile beaming while watching. We even saw her wipe away a tear despite the countless wedding speeches she must have watched! For us, the value in booking somewhere like Cripps is how they will make you feel. Our worries in the build up were minimal and on the day nonexistent thanks to Emily and the Cripps team.
