Cripps Barn, the flagship venue of the family-run Cripps & Co., is an enchanting 18th-century Cotswold barn nestled in the heart of the countryside near Bibury in the beautiful Coln Valley. With its flagstone floors, rustic beams, and a roaring open fireplace, this historic barn has been transformed into a versatile event space that’s perfect for any occasion, any time of year.



Cripps Barn offers an exclusive space perfect for any special occasion. The main barn, with its solid stone structure decorated with a medieval chandelier, a large stone fireplace, a grand candelabra, and two impressive entrances that flood the space with natural light. One entrance opens to a spacious terrace overlooking the stunning Cotswold countryside, while the other leads to the sun-filled Oak Room.

The surrounding grounds are just as incredible as the barn itself, providing a picturesque backdrop for your event. An impressive glass and timber door opens onto the large terrace, offering views of the woodland garden, complete with fire pits and a large bonfire for an added touch of warmth and ambiance.

Guests can dine in style in the Oak Room, which accommodates up to 150 seated guests, or in the main barn, which seats an additional 84 guests. Our menus are thoughtfully curated by our talented chefs, who specialise in flame-cooked dishes using a giant rotisserie and BBQ grill. We focus on sourcing the finest ingredients, cooking them simply, and serving them generously.
