Had the pleasure of staying here recently. The room was classed as "Club". It decor was a little bit dated, however the room was a nice size, bed was very comfortable and the linen was nice quality. The wardrobe needs to be thrown into a skip! I had a nice riverfront view and the room was well sound-proofed considering how close to the street it is. The bathroom was a bit compact and the bath is far too small, however the water pressure was excellent and the toiletries were nice. The gym is located in another property however it is very well equipped and one of the best I have encountered. The hotel is very located for Windsor and all the local sites and is a very short walk away from the station. The on-site brasserie is large and has a large menu to choose form. The food was good but not overly "wow", however the desserts were excellent. The breakfast buffet was standard but, again, not overly "wow" but plenty on offer. The brasserie was very busy and noisy - so pick your time wisely if you prefer a calmer breakfast. The service throughout the hotel was good. If you are looking for some "old world charm" and want to be well located in Windsor then this is the place to be.

We booked here for a birthday Afternoon Tea for a group of 10 of us on 30th November. The service was absolutely brilliant and all the staff were exceptionally professional, helpful, attentive and delivered a faultless level of service. Our afternoon tea sandwiches, cakes, and beverages were replenished as and when required and staff frequently tended to us without having to be called upon. The afternoon tea itself was lovely. Freshly prepared, tasted great, good variety, free flowing and presented very well. All of our group thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea experience and with thanks to the hospitality team on their superb service. Would definitely return for afternoon tea again. The venue itself was beautifully dressed for the season and staff kindly offered to take group pics when we were capturing our memories of our celebration. It was great not to be rushed or hurried and to be able to enjoy the dining experience at Sir Christopher Wren. Thank you.

This was our last stop on our trip in Europe. This place by far stood out and would recommend to anyone visiting Windsor! From the moment we checked in to when we checked out-staff was friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean and full of all amenities needed. It was quiet and just the best place to end our vacation. Breakfast was yummy and the view of the Thames with the swans were an added bonus! Would to have loved to learn more about the beautiful buildings. Safe area and very close to Windsor castle, shops and lots of pubs and restaurants-within 3-5 minutes walk.

Easy check in, great room with a very comfy bed. Stored my luggage after check out while i had a work event - secure but easily accessible. Breakfast was yummy and i enjoyed sitting by the restaurant window and admiring the view. No bath in my room, only a shower, which i was slightly disappointed about but that's just a personal preference. Shower was very nice. Only slight niggle was the stairs - I was asked if i needed help with my luggage, which i declined. However, if I knew there were so many of wonky stairs, I probably would have accepted the help. I am aware that my colleague struggled with this. Just a little heads up would have given us more of an idea and worthwhile knowing for future. Certainly nothing to complain about though! A lovely stay. The free mince pies at reception were a nice touch.

This hotel is in a perfect location in the heart of Windsor and close to Eton. It is situated on the Thames with beautiful views. The staff are very professional and pleasant. The ambience is very stylish and cozy in wintertime when we visited with fires. The hotel is spotless and well maintained. As an older property there isn't a lift so do consider this if you have mobility issues. Breakfast is good and the bar and restaurant offers a good selection. Would recommend for couples and families.
