The National Self Build and Renovation Centre is the perfect, unique venue to host your conference, events and board meetings. Our Employee Owned team are extremely passionate and strive to offer outstanding customer service. We will pull out all the stops to guarantee your event runs as smoothly as possible.
We have a number of meeting rooms accommodating 1 to 240 guests - all fitted with the latest I.T and AV equipment. We have four full size houses within the Centre giving us the real ‘WOW’ factor.
We are flexible with our opening and closing times, catering requirements and can set up rooms to suit your requirements. Our experienced conferencing team are available throughout to help with all your needs with no hidden costs.
The Build It Theatre is our largest meeting room located on the ground floor. It's also the most versatile with a maximum capacity of 240 guests. This room is ideal for large-scale events, product launches and team-building days. This spacious meeting room with a built-in screen and stage is perfect for your next conference.

February 2025A very informative and useful day out, even for a building professional like myself. Received a lot of great advice, information and ideas for my current project and staff/representatives were all very helpful. Particular highlight was the renovation tour of the 'mocked up' house guided by Rob - would highly recommend to any budding future renovators! Definitely a must visit to the centre for any future self builders/renovators - will no doubt pay a return visit this year!

February 2025Excellent visit this weekend. Easy to get to, easy parking and very friendly staff. A great selection of exhibitors with plenty of ideas. A must visit for anyone considering self build. Everyone was helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic, with no commercial pressure being applied. Its provided us with plenty of inspiration and enthusiasm to get our project going. We had a slight problem with our scanner for further information requests, but that was quickly resolved with no issues whatsoever.

February 2025Great place to go if you are a novice self builder or seasoned pro., all under one roof. Nothing beats, talking to the building experts and seeing full size examples of house construction types from foundations up and an impressive cross section of the thousands of material choices you can use. The advice and resources you can access via the centre will no doubt save you time and money and make your house build experience an easier one.

February 2025If you haven't been, it is well worth a visit. As well as a whole host of trade stands with expertise on hand there are lots of real life construction examples for subjects such as loft conversions, drainage, foundations and a house being renovated! There is also a self build house that you can wander round. This is my fourth visit and I am sure I will go again to gain more knowledge and ideas.
