March 2025I really enjoyed staying here! I ate lunch in the pub both days I was there; the food was delicious. The room I stayed in was perfect for me, as I was solo traveling. The bed was super comfy, the decor was nice, and the bathroom was clean and modern. I also had a beautiful view of St Mary’s church from my window. The most memorable part of this hotel/pub was definitely the service and the staff, as everyone I talked to was so incredibly friendly and attentive. The location was great, being right next to the church and a short walk from the castle. There was a local coffee shop across the street which was very good and a grocery store not far. If I ever travel back to Warwick, I would happily stay here again!

March 2025I recently visited The Old Coffee Tavern in Warwickshire for a Mother’s Day roast, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. For £30, the dinner was decent, though not worth the price tag. I had the chicken, it came out as a thigh, which wasn’t great, and my mother had the beef, which turned out to be much tougher than expected. In fact, I ended up feeding my meat to the dog! On a positive note, the pub is dog-friendly, which is definitely a perk for pet owners. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it’s nice to know that your furry friends are welcome. However, when it comes to the food, there’s room for improvement, especially considering the price. I hope they can make some adjustments to elevate the experience.
