May 2024Really nice hotel. Rooms were spotless and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and very quiet at night. Staff very friendly and breakfast amazing. Would definitely use again.

April 2024We had my sister’s wedding here at the weekend and I honestly can’t praise them enough. The venue is absolutely stunning, they have done an amazing job renovating the building it really is beautiful. The staff were all amazing and very helpful. The whole day went without a hitch and everyone enjoyed themselves. Food & service was exceptional. We all stayed over for the weekend, the rooms were beautiful, very clean, very comfortable beds, lots of space, amazing shower! We all loved our rooms, breakfast was fabulous too. It feels very much like a family run business, the owners, and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. I highly recommend the venue for events, and the hotel for staying over.

April 2024we booked parr’s bank for our wedding after falling in love with this beautiful venue, we were not disappointed, everything was perfect from start to finish , all the staff were really helpful and very accommodating, my wife stayed the night before and got ready at the venue, she was also thrilled as they had a great night and getting ready there was so easy due to all the staff being so good. Rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. All out guest complimented the food and the staff they all loved the venue, would highly recommended

March 2024Excellent hotel. Booked here one night on a work trip. Their customer service is top notch. Passionate young man working at the register! Clean hotel rooms, modern, nice shower, simple utilities like coffee and even biscuits were provided. The hotel went above and beyond to make it a nice stay and the price was even very comfortable.

December 2023This hotel is clean and contemporary with modern decor. I'm giving it 3 stars because we had issues with customer service and options being advertised online that didn't exist in person. Our room was much smaller than we expected, and we were told a room would be available the next night for us to upgrade to. However, this was never followed up on - and when we spoke to the person at reception (someone different than who we had spoken to before) the room was gone. In addition to that, the light bulb in our room needed replacing, and the man at reception said he'd contact someone from maintenance to get a replacement the next morning - again, that never happened. I agree with other reviews that the online advertising can be misleading, especially when it comes to the size of the bed. The design of the room we had was small and very cramped. I appreciate that we had had the smallest room in the hotel, but there was barely any room to step out of the shower because the toilet is in the way. Not very well designed. We wanted to keep our valuables in a safe which was advertised as being available on the website, but the person at reception told us there were none. I also didn't like how my credit card was charged for the remaining balance of our stay without giving me notice ahead of time. While I obviously realize I had to pay the outstanding amount, it was taken out of the blue and I wasn't asked if I wanted to use another payment method. Breakfast was good, the staff working in the kitchen were lovely. Location of this hotel is great and centrally located. It can be a bit noisy because the rooms face the bus terminal and main road, including a pub not far away, but this wasn't a huge deal. The customer service and overall lack of amenities in the hotel need to be improved for the price that's being charged. While it is visually beautiful, it feels like they need to refine their service and amenities before the hotel is fully operational.
