Cancellation policy

In the event of a cancellation, we require verbal notification followed by written confirmation by fax or registered post within 24 hours. Charges apply as follows: Date of cancellation Cancellation charge Between 24 and 12 weeks before the event date 30% of total booking value Between 12 and 6 weeks before the event date 50% of total booking value Between 6 and 4 weeks before the event date 70% of total booking value Between 4 and 2 weeks before the event date 90% of total booking value Less than 2 weeks before the event date 100% of total booking value 2.1 Confirmation of final numbers must be confirmed in writing no less than 5 days prior to the event. 2.2 No liability will be incurred In the unlikely event that Athena is forced to cancel your event due to reasons beyond its control, it will offer alternative dates for the event to take place. If no date can be agreed then all monies paid will be refunded but this will be the limit of Athena’s liability. 2.3 In the case of postponement of an event, the venue and client must mutually agree on a new date and confirm this in writing. If an event date is postponed and a new date mutually agreed and subsequently cancelled, cancellation charges will be calculated using the original booking date

    A lovely experience coming here. Attended an Pakistani wedding and expectations were far exceeded. Lovely canopies upon entrance. Greeted and seated in our designated seats by staff. Everything seemed to be well organised. Decor set up, seating tables were all laid out beautifully. Food wasn't provided by the venue but nevertheless when served; came out fresh, hot and tasty. There's an overflow balcony space which is perfect to view centre stage downstairs. In addition, there's free parking nearby on side streets if you able to find a spot. Overall, amazing evening spent here.

    Great venue. I've been afew times for bongos bingo. Great location. Car park right next to it if you need it. There's afew different bars to use inside. The drinks are reasonably priced.

    I was at a concert, the visibility was poor, the sound system was ok, the above rating only comes from the performer who made sure the evening was nice. Paradoxically, our seats at the end of the hall allowed us to stand and watch the concert. seating, poor visibility from the lower part of the room, but from about half of the room and from the balcony. A theater performance, a music show, I do not recommend this place, just listen to the concert, but what is happening on stage is not clearly visible to other participants of the event.

    Awful seating arrangement for the Rock orchestra last night, turned it into just a light show with music as there was little to no chance of seeing anyone on the stage. The seating plan was completely different to what was sold originally and left us feeling like we had been robbed, would not return ever.
