Located in Nottingham, Bestwood Lodge Hotel is steeped in history and set in 700 acres of beautiful parkland, making it the perfect backdrop for your special day. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in a number of places across the hotel, from the grand ballroom to the Lodge’s own chapel suite. From large parties of over 100 guests to a smaller, more intimate celebration, Bestwood Lodge has the perfect location for you.

February 2025Had a great stay at the Best Wood Lodge Hotel for 1 night recently. Good size room, lovely historical building. All you would expect in a room for the price paid, much better value than chain hotels nationally. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Paid £10 for breakfast, great selection and great value. Will have to go back in the summertime to enjoy the garden terrace!

March 2025I had heard that there were ghosts so I was looking forward to staying there. But I had no nightmares and slept soundly. LOL！ The place is old but has a nice atmosphere. I think it would be better if the parking lot was a little bigger.

January 2025Stunning building, and good service from the waitress. We had the afternoon tea, the scones were lovely, nice tea, but we weren’t the biggest fan of the sandwiches/cakes (mostly due to personal preference on fillings/flavours ).

February 2025Made great by the Victorians; put into decline in the last 25 years by the current cartel owners who seem to have some kind of deal with their associates in Nottingham City Council and couldn't care less about the heritage of the place. They are bleeding a beautiful English building dry until it becomes irreparable. Such is the state of the whole country.
