We absolutely loved this as a little get away and will definitely be going back. We stayed in one of the shepherds huts which was lovely, everything was clean and tidy and the views were beautiful. The food was also amazing. Would recommend as a peaceful, relaxing break.

A three night stay in a courtyard room which was very comfortable. Whilst we took advantage of a discounted three night room rate, I was a bit disappointed that we could not get some deal for three nights dinner. We largely enjoyed the three nights of dinner but the menu was a little restrictive by the third night. In future we may look to have some diners out. Breakfast was very good.

We went here for Sunday lunch. In arrival there were a lot of noisy, barking, yowling dogs. We were put in the conservatory which was quieter and had a nice garden view but it lacked any atmosphere. Our waitress was lovely and very funny! The menu is good and well priced. They have a nice wine list. We went quite late so the pork had all gone. The beef was beautiful and lovely veg and gravy. The only thing that was terrible were the roast potatoes, they were inedible. Overall a pleasant experience but I would prefer to sit in the bar area, much cosier and comfortable.

We were attending a wedding held here and it was lovely, the room for the wedding breakfast was beautiful. The staff were amazing, they made our stay, nothing was too much trouble and the cocktails were fab. Why not 5 stars? Well, the rooms were lovely but basic for the price, we have stayed in Norwich, in a suite with bath and a living room for the same price as this small room and shower room. Don't get me wrong, the room, clean, the bathroom lovely but felt like a high price. The breakfast was lovely and cooked to order, great views and plenty of parking.

We stayed at Titchwell Manor in Aug 2024 immediately after our Civil Partnership held nearby. We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was really nice: beautifully presented and very clean. Breakfast was nice, but took a bit of time. In fact, poor service is what really lets this hotel down. Some examples: - We had asked early on whether it would be possible to have pre dinner drinks brought to our room as a treat, and the answer from reception was “of course”. When we later rang up and ordered our drinks, but a different member of staff said that they wouldn’t bring them to our room because they had started dinner service and were therefore “too busy”. Given the earlier assurance, we were quiet surprised by this, and the irascible tone of the person we spoke to who was totally unapologetic. - Another evening at dinner we asked to start the meal with a couple of cocktails and were really clear that we wanted these before any of our food (in respect of which we had ordered accompanying wine). To our surprise, our *starters* were the first thing to arrive (before we had had any drinks at all - cocktails or wine) in exact contradiction of our specific request! - dirty cups and glasses were left on outdoor tables in the garden overnight. Appreciate that these are relatively minor things, but for the price you expect a better level of service. It would seem there’s a problem with the management of the bar/drinks service in particular. More generally, as a young gay couple we didn’t really feel like we fitted their typical customer (it has to be said, mainly old age pensioners) and therefore were a little overlooked and were made to feel unimportant.
