April 2024At the time of me reaching the Southwark Cathedral I had quite the journey behind me already and my feet were dead, so it was incredibly lovely to take a breather in this wonderful Cathedral. The architecture here was superb and the stained glass windows were amongst the most stunning I had ever seen. Highly reccomend you visit here as it's also free!

June 2024Really enjoyed spending time in Southwark Cathedral. It’s a stunning building with a peaceful space and large nave. Everything you’d expect to see in a cathedral is here - nave, candles, common worship books, stained glass, ornate pews, quiet contemplation and huge entrance is here. I really enjoyed hanging out in the garden with Shakespeare and the little herb garden. There is no cost but you can make a donation and get a guide book in return. Afterwards enjoy a drink and snacks in the courtyard cafe near the entrance!
