London, all of it, is the backdrop to any event at Aqua Shard – the restaurant is on level 31 of western Europe’s tallest building. Even the toilets come with a view. A distinctly British theme runs through the venue, from the Liberty-print banquettes to a home-grown menu that includes Cornish leg of lamb, and beef rump with Welsh egg. There’s a spacious private dining room if your event is a little more exclusive, or there’s the semi-private Gin Wing for larger affairs. Its little sister, Tea Wing, is another glass-clad space available for events. Hire the whole place and you’ll have room for 180 diners or a stand-up reception for twice as many.

February 2025This is a lovely restaurant with a charming and calm atmosphere, incredible view to the city, of course it makes sense to come during gold hour and later. 2 floors to discover views, in addition I liked their bathrooms - clean and beautiful. All dishes I’ve tried were very tasty, hence their desserts I can divide into 3 categories: too sweet, too sour-sweet and traditionally sweet. For me too sour-sweet it’s a bit too much, however I came for a dinner 😉 and it was really delicious. Of course their prices are expensive but I bet you know it.

February 2025A Wonderful Fine Dining Experience at Aqua Shard I had an amazing skyline dinner at Aqua Shard, a fine dining restaurant located on the 31st floor in the heart of Central London. The breathtaking views of Big Ben, the London Eye, and the city’s sparkling nightscape made the experience even more special. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. Michael, our table waiter, was outstanding he was polite, patient, and took the time to explain each dish of our three course meal in detail. His attentiveness truly enhanced our dining experience. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious and well-prepared, perfectly complementing the elegant ambiance. Aqua Shard is the perfect place for a memorable fine dining experience with stunning panoramic views of London. I would highly recommend it!

February 2025I can say with confidence that the whole evening was an experience, the view, food and service were all top class. The food was perfectly portioned and tasted great with each individual flavour complimenting the other, and a special mention has to go to the service given by the waiter who was humorous, witty and professional making the the whole experience even better. Everything was perfect. Also note the express lift decelerating to the ground floor was so fast it made my stomach churn, this strangely enough added to the experience. Also it was very expensive but dining at the Shard on Christmas Eve is also a one off.

February 2025We went there for a ‘By the window dinner experience’ which my daughter and her boyfriend kindly gave to us as a gift. It was a £125 per person voucher and we were really happy to go to this stunning restaurant again. They offer a set menu where your only room for manoeuvre is to choose your main. I went for Duck breast (which in the description was referred to as duck leg), and my other half had a steak. We shared the starters and the desserts and it was a lot! My other half is very particular with what he eats and they catered for gluten free bread etc, however we were not impressed by the starters and would rather have an opportunity to choose. The desserts were amazing and we got some tea. It was interesting because we expected the set menu experience to be exactly £125 per person plus our extra tea, but the menu was set at £135 per person we we were a bit surprised by this extra, which together with tea and their standard service charge and VAT got us to a bill of £75 on top of our voucher. The views were stunning and we were quite lucky with the table in the corner (double points for the view!) and really enjoyed our evening.

March 2025We went for dinner to Aqua Shard to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had a nice table, atmosphere was great, view was spectacular. The food was delicious , from starters to desserts, I particularly enjoyed halibut with caviar. Our waiter Alexander went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, he was very attentive, helpful and very friendly. He brought a special little dessert for my daughter and wished her happy birthday. Thank you so much. We definitely will be back!
