Occupying levels 34 to 52 of the soaring Shard, this hotel’s USP requires no explanation. But beyond it owning some of the best views in London, this five-star establishment offers event bookers spaces notable for their top-spec AV equipment, natural daylight and dynamic design. Ren, the headline space, can be arranged for conferences, meetings or banquets. For private dining, check out Yi or Li. If complete privacy isn’t necessary, enquire about the Chef’s Market Table at Ting, the hotel’s restaurant. Its menus are created using local, seasonal ingredients chef finds at nearby Borough Market.
Looking out over London Bridge to Battersea Power Station and beyond, Li is perfect for a group dinner of up to 30 guests.

Our stay at Shangri-La The Shard was exceptional from start to finish. The breathtaking views, impeccable service, and luxurious rooms made it a truly memorable experience. Dining was exquisite, and the infinity pool overlooking London was the perfect touch of serenity. A must-visit for anyone seeking unparalleled elegance in the heart of the city!

a romantic xmas getaway for my partner. Lovely views of London in a luxurious room. The inifinity pool and sauna are amazing and very romantic. We had a couples massage which was relaxing but tbh we have had better for a third of the price The meal was the most disappointing. Very poor food and poor service. Was asked if we wanted the bill before we had even ordered. Maybe we should have taken the hint. Breakfast was good fantastic choice. Asked for blck pudding and the went an cooked some which was a nice touch Overall a good time was had but avoid the food in thw sky lounge which is bland unadventurous and over priced.

What an utter letdown. I went for a spa experience at the Twilight Sky Pass at Shangri-La (at The Shard), booked via Spabreaks.com. For £400, I expected luxury and relaxation, but the experience was anything but. I found the “spa” facilities laughably inadequate for a venue boasting 5 stars. A pitiful number of lockers (with some broken and hardly working) and cramped changing rooms, which meant guests had to awkwardly wait in line. Relaxing? Hardly. The pool was shockingly small. I feel it served more of an ornamental rather than functional role. And the showers? I couldn't spot them; could hardly find a couple. Even the toilets were shared with bar patrons on the floor. This isn’t luxury; it’s chaos masquerading as exclusivity. Save your money. And your sanity.

We stayed here for a special occasion in December and I found the service disappointing. The hotel has no lobby area for guests and therefore just feels more like a bus terminal with people coming and going from the restaurant. We happened to walk into the hotel as the same time as an urban massage therapist who then an hour later gave me a massage in the ‘Spa’. There is no Spa - they take you to a different hotel room for your treatment. It felt like a scam to book a massage at the Shangri-La when I could have just ordered an Urban Massage for a fraction of the cost.

Extremely disappointing experience at Shangri-La. Definitely not what I expected from a 5-star hotel. There were very few lockers available, and some of the locks didn’t even work properly. The changing rooms were limited too, making the experience far from comfortable. The pool was shockingly small for such a high-end venue, and to top it all off, the shower was clogged with hair, causing water to pool up—a truly unhygienic and unpleasant situation. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and utterly let down. I would not recommend this spa to anyone and will certainly not be returning.
