Didn't stay here so cannot judge the rooms. Lovely location and service 1st class A little pricey but nice for treating loved ones

Located ideally for a visit to the RAF museum at Cosford. Drinks pricey, as is some of the food. Rooms are clean, comfortable the usual facilities for tea and coffee but not all deluxe have a minibar. But the duty manager Sophie stepped in and had one put in my room and then dropped by to check on us in the bar/restaurant. The personal touch made all the difference and the bar manager had been helpful too. Where this hotel excels is friendliness and service which is exemplary

Perfect stay for us, we were attending a conference in Wolverhampton centre and chose this hotel as opposed to one in the city. It didn’t disappoint, staff were all pleasant, rooms very clean and well equipped (tea/coffee/kettle and proper mugs 😊). Breakfast on both days was delicious. Exceptionally quiet at night too. Would definitely return.

Great hotel at the top of the hill, I believe it was owned by the Mander family years ago. Most of the building is "original" and looks very grand (some of it at the back is very 70's "functional" looking). Generally some nice views from the upper floor and a nice outlook through the dining room into the gardens. Certainly an impressive "medieval" interior in the Great Hall and main bar areas. The room at the top was large, with a big, firm bed, a sitting area and a shower room. Weirdly small wardrobe cupboard which seem to be the norm these days, wasn't tall enough to hang a dress. Hair drier and iron both available. A mini fridge with drinks and snacks was there if you wanted it.
