Burleigh Court is the perfect place to host your client meetings, retreat days or private parties. We offer a couple of private rooms for hire as well as the whole estate with all its 18 bedrooms. The terrace room seats up to 16 people, the Oak Room up to 46. We also offer outdoor seating on the rear patio or secret garden.
You can book in for just a meal, a day or stay the night – we’d love to host you as long as you like. Our restaurant offers some seriously good food - mostly locally sourced and harvested from our very own kitchen garden. All eighteen bedrooms are super comfy and offer a peaceful night of sleep. And there is more: group foraging, treasure hunts or clay pigeon experiences are available as well as walking maps to enjoy the surrounding nature.
All meeting rooms boasts much natural daylight, along with ample power points, a presentation screen and Wi-Fi. There’s plenty of natural ventilation and the opportunity to enjoy breaks in our gardens, lounge, and bar. Burleigh Court is centrally located and within easy access of both the M4 & M5 motorways, with parking for up to 30 vehicles. London Paddington is only 1hr 20 away via direct train to Stroud.
Thanks to its decidedly un-corporate atmosphere, Burleigh Court is the ideal venue for inspiring meetings, seminars, and conferences. December 2024Wonderful recent stay in one of their 'Top-notch' rooms in the main house, which was well worth the extra price. Staff were friendly, professional and accommodating, they suggested some beautiful walks and solved issues without delay. The Room (and hotel in general) was clean and very comfortable. Wonderful old-style building and grounds. The restaurant was also lovely - the dinner credit we received made what would have been an expensive menu very affordable. Recommended and will likely be back!

December 2024We had a fantastic stay at Burleigh Court, the hotel was brilliant and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bedrooms were cosy, warm and clean. The living room was a nice addition, lovely roaring fires and a well stocked bar. A special mention to Owana, her service at breakfast was outstanding - the hotel are lucky to have her! If we could have given the breakfast 10 stars we would have, the food was perfect! We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

December 2024Stopped by for afternoon tea. We had scones with jam and cream, and tea. Quiet and serene setting, and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. Small lounge at the back has nice view of the garden, and the larger lounge at the front affords a view of the valley. The back road on the way back to Brimscombe Hill has some single track passages without clear passing places so check before choosing that route.

December 2024Sadly a very disappointing visit. We visited for my father in laws birthday. There were 15 of us. The venue is beautiful and it felt very festive. We arrived at 12.30. They didn’t take our food order until almost 2pm. We were seated in one of their private dining rooms which was lovely. The children’s sharing starters were bought out without plates for them to eat off. The starters didn’t arrive for almost an hour after we ordered. The mains then took a very long time and came out luke warm at best. We decided to leave without dessert as we had already been there 3 hours and didnt think the children could cope with however long dessert took to be served. Was really hoping for a lot more. They charge a discretionary service charge which, had the food and service been up to par we would have happily paid but not on this occasion.

November 2024We are very disappointed with our stay which we were looking forward to. It was completely different from what we hoped for and was advertised. I cannot believe where all these good reviews come from.. First of all, our room was very cold and smelled disgustingly musty. It was not cleaned properly (there were brown stains on the bathtub). There was practically no pressure under the shower. The bathroom was in general very run down and desperately needed refurbishing. We didn’t want to stay in this room to the point we considered going back home or book some place else but since it was already very late we decided to stay the night. In the morning we made a complaint and got another room which was a bit better - warm and not smelly at least. Unfortunately, the next morning there was no hot (not even warm) water whatsoever.
