Several of our gorgeous rooms are licensed for civil weddings, partnerships and other non-ecumenical ceremonies including our breath-taking Orangery which is licensed for up to 150 guests.

We will take the lead from you as to how much or how little you would like us to arrange with regards to your ceremony, but flowers, chair covers and music are amongst some of the things that we are always happy to organise!

August 2019While visiting for a wedding in July 2019, we had a terrible experience. We were staying in the courtyard. On arrival there were old beer and wine bottles in the hall way outside our room - they remained there until the following day. Both bedside lamps failed to work, which made it dangerous for myself to get up for the toilet in the night. There were no towels in our room and reception did not answer the telephone to request some. I went over in person and requested some - but they never arrived. I ended up having to ask a maid with the trolley. Toilet flush barely works In the bar, there were no clean glasses for whiskey or g&t - served in cola glass. There were no clean bowls at breakfast for cereal . I asked for a bowl but was told they had run out of clean ones. The sausages and eggs were cold and inedible. This was quite simply the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I emailed my complaint to the hotel but it was never responded to .
