Ashfield House is a luxury country house that is available on an exclusive hire basis for your special day with our beautiful ground floor layout and the 15 guest bedrooms for you to use as you please.
Our stunning and charming house can accommodate 130 of your guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 250 for your evening reception. We can also accommodate smaller weddings that can be held comfortably in one of our smaller reception rooms. No matter how intimate your day is, you will still have exclusive use of the house.
On your wedding day, you will be looked after by our small but knowledgeable and highly experienced family team that provide a friendly and personal service for you.
At Ashfield House, you can make use of our bridal sitting room to get ready in – a lovely start to your big day. Overlooking the gorgeous Douglas Valley and manicured gardens, this room is peaceful, elegantly decorated and is very practical with sofas, dressing tables and dress hooks. This room is yours for the night to relax in and to touch up your makeup!

Love Gets Sweeter Wedding and Family Videography
January 2025Am I allowed to have a favourite wedding venue after filming weddings for all these years...? If I can, then Ashfield House is up there! As well as being a wedding videographer filming weddings there, I've been to an awards do, open days and even a wreath making workshop and it's always been a wonderful experience. The team there will go above and beyond, making sure that both you and your guests feel truly looked after!
