February 2025I've been to a few events at the Aviator and despite my complicated dietary needs they have always excellent at feeding me delicious food - even pudding! Highly recommend for any occasion - been for a Christmas party, anniversary meal and even a 1y old's birthday!

December 2024We booked the Secret Escapes Dinner, Bed and Breakfast last minute and it was well worth it. Welcoming cocktail was a Mango and Amaretto, very warming and refreshing. Room was overlooking the airport and felt very luxurious. Would have liked a bath but the rainfall shower was a good consolation. Room refreshments were of really good quality. Bed was lovely, mattress really comfy. 2 different sized pillows though which was my only criticism. Good choices fo dinner and service was really personable. One of the waiters dropped a glass of wine on my wife but it was absolutely no big deal, we were really impressed with how they responded. 2 glasses of wine free each and took off the dinner supplements. Breakfast was delish, so much choice and we left very happy. Perfect night away

February 2025It was a pleasure to celebrate a friends birthday with an afternoon tea at The Aviator, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the stunning views added to the prestige of the afternoon. The selection of teas was exquisite, and the variety of the food was amazing - each bite was a delight. What added to the making the experience exceptional, was our server, Adele. She was nothing short of perfect—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. She took the time to ensure that every detail was taken care of and made us feel incredibly special throughout the entire experience. Her warm and welcoming personality really added to the celebration, The servers that looked after us once Adele had left for the day were also fantastic and we couldn't have asked for better service. The cocktails are also out of this world. Top class ingredients, and presentation and tasted so good - we may have had several..!! Thank you to Adele and the team at The Aviator for making this birthday afternoon tea so memorable. It was a truly lovely celebration, and I can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

February 2025What at outstanding hotel! My wife and I stayed here for a romantic weekend away and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hotel staff are extremely professional and very welcoming. We stayed in a Sky Suite which is extremely luxurious, with a huge bath, wonderful shower and comfy bed. No review would be complete without mentioning the cocktails - amazing! We will certainly be returning in the future.

March 2025We booked the Devour overnight stay with two course meal in the One Eleven diner. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade on our room as we were celebrating my husbands birthday. We used a voucher for the afternoon tea which was really nice. Unfortunately the nice things were overriden by the awful meal we had in the evening. Firstly we were not permitted to order from the full One Eleven menu so there was not much choice. This is not obvious on their website as the link takes you to the full menu. I had hoped to order the ribs but was told that isn't included in the deal so basically burger or chicken wrap and not much else to choose from! We both ordered the Chicken Schwarma which was chicken thigh wrapped up in a huge flatbread. There was lots of soggy fat left on the chicken and far too much bread and not alot else. Very dry. I left most of mine and hubbie only ate half of his. We were not asked to pay for my husbands beer by way of an apology, nice gesture, but didn't really make up for his birthday meal having been spoiled. Paid £175 for an overnight stay in what was a beautiful room and a sub standard extremely disappointing meal. The One Eleven bistro was also very noisy that evening with the rugby playing on a large TV and quite alot of people drinking in there, again not what i had expected. Wrote to the manager when we got home who offered us a complimentary room upgrade if we stay again...... however i doubt we will be back after our experience with the meal.
