Variety is the draw at Aqua’s two destination restaurants and bar.
Situated five floors above Oxford Circus on a huge 1,579 sq m site, they offer a choice of stylish Japanese at Aqua Kyoto or modern Spanish at Aqua Nueva, as well as top-notch cocktails in the adjacent Aqua Spirit. restaurants have private dining rooms and all three spaces are available for hire during the Christmas season.
The venue’s real highlights, however, are its sizeable terraces, which overlook the rooftops of Regent Street. Both the Spanish and Japanese offerings translate very well into festive party food.

September 2024Lovely restaurant setting, albeit perhaps some may find it a tad dark. The welcome and waiting staff were impeccable, providing truly first class service! The food was as delicious as it was beautifully presented on the plate. Thanks for a wonderful evening dinner!

October 2024I visited yesterday and absolutely loved it. The service and our waiter were really amazing and gave us great recommendations, so attentive, service was so quick and they were constantly checking on us. Water was also constantly refilled. The food was delicious we loved everything. Went on a Thursday and really enjoyed the vibe, there was an dj playing and the music was good. Our favourite dish was the spicy tuna roll and the sea bass, also loved the aubergine. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food, i don’t drink alcohol so would have loved to see better soft drinks on the menu. Also the cherry blossom is a gorgeous dessert but i thought it was an actual brownie so was a bit disappointed when it came crumbled but otherwise have nothing bad to say. Will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu, would love to try the sushi platters as they looked amazing.

October 2024I do not have enough superlatives to do this place justice. From being greeted professionally at ground level to escort up in the lift and welcomed into the main restaurant, everything was first class. Although we got an early table and therefore experienced the restaurant at a quiet time the service was quick without being rushed. The lighting was well considered, with subtle spotlights against a dim background, cleverly placed to allow the ubiquitous social media snapshots to best showcase the visually spectacular offerings. The food itself is unbelievably good with excellent flavour paired with a flair for presentation giving a feast for both the palate and eyes. Each interaction with every member of staff found them to be smart, professional and engaging without being over familiar. Spotlessly clean and nicest toilets around. I have been trying to find fault in the interest of balance, but I cannot. One of the best dining experiences I have enjoyed and we left delighted and very, very impressed. Well done to all involved in this venture. Take a bow !

October 2024booked via first table the interior of the restaurant is so beautiful ! and it was quiet during the 2 hours we were there (6-8pm) on a tuesday i would come just for the dessert if you could ! the mains were good but i feel as though you could find similar things nearby for cheaper, however the desserts were so unique and all were delicious :) our server was very lovely and very attentive - even arranging a birthday dessert because she saw my friends had brought flowers.

December 2024I really, really want to give this a higher rating. The food here is absolutely delicious and some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in London. Fresh fish, inventive recipes, and reasonable prices given the area. However…. The service here is completely abysmal. We sat at 7:45, met our waiter, got our waters and then didn’t see home again for 45 mins. We then found the floor manager who took over as our server, the average wait for a drink was 20 mins. Food arrived as it was prepared which was nice. But then, it was next to impossible to find our waiter. The manager just stepped in for the rest of the experience. Constant waits for food, dessert menu, and the occasional drink. After begging for the dessert menu, our original waiter arrived 2 hours after initially greeting us and was very aloof. Our 7:45 sitting finally concluded at 11:30 which left us with zero time to do anything else that evening. If they could figure out the service portion they’d really have something here. As i said food is great and incentive, it’s just done such a disservice by the service.
