February 2025We enjoyed a short break, we where very impressed with room, very clean, very modern and stylish. Very helpful and friendly staff, room was ready early and they let use use car park while we made a short journey into Sheffield. We had a good night's sleep, although bed was firmer than we are used too🤣 we will be back again to sample food in the summer.

February 2025I was up visiting my brother at university with two pugs and the hotel was perfect! All staff were welcoming and attentive, especially the lady at the front desk, i didn’t manage to get her name, she ensured that I had everything I needed for the dogs and made sure they had beds/water bowls etc. when sitting in the bar/eating food, which we very much appreciated! The breakfast was also delicious and the location is only a short drive to the city. Will definitely re-book in the future, thank you!

January 2025We went to The Psalter for an anniversary meal and we were both very impressed. It was a bit quiet (although it was a week night) but the food was incredible. The cheddar donuts are a must-have! The steak was perfect, the sea bream with fennel was delicious and very decently sized portions. Chips amongst the best I've had, again, excellent portion size. For dessert we had the cheesecake mousse which was so so good. Highly recommend.

March 2025We hosted my sister’s baby shower here today and wow… what an amazing venue, accommodating staff and friendly faces. Thanks to Tom for making this all possible and helping us out in any way he could! Also thank you to Katie, Frankie and the lovely receptionist who helped serve us drinks and make sure the space was tidy. We were served their buffet. This wasn’t your usual beige which went down a treat with all the guests. Especially the salads! I would highly recommend this space for future events and I am sure we will be back to visit. Thank you again Tom and team…. Hope you enjoyed the popcorn and cupcakes😄x

February 2025The Psalter Sheffield - Great Food & Service Had a really nice meal at The Psalter, where we ordered a variety of dishes to share. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the quality of the food was definitely there. The service was great – friendly and attentive without being over the top. They also recommended a few cocktails, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately, we found them a bit bland. One even came garnished with a rather sad-looking sprig of mint, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the overall atmosphere was lovely - relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot for a catch-up or a chilled evening out. Pricing was on the higher side, but considering the quality of the food, it felt reasonable. Would definitely come back and hopefully try more cocktails - hopefully they’ve improved :) Didn’t get chance to try the rooms- would love to try them soon!
