Kenwood Hall - A Festive Delight Kenwood Hall provided the perfect setting for our Christmas party. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable from start to finish. The food was exceptional, a true feast for the senses. We were particularly impressed by the reasonable prices of the drinks, adding to the overall value of the experience. The gardens were a serene escape, with a picturesque small lake and fountain. It was a peaceful retreat amidst the festive cheer. Free parking was a convenient bonus. We must give a special shout-out to the super friendly and bubbly receptionist, Ellie. Her warm welcome and helpful nature truly enhanced our stay. Overall, Kenwood Hall is a fantastic choice for a festive getaway or special occasion.

It was an excellent stay with everything made so special by the staff. My mum had emailed prior to let them know it was my graduation and Paul had left a card and cake in the room. He had upgraded our room to a beautiful suite. Whilst playing Poole on the free unlocked table, Elise also spoke to us and gave us some great recommendations for local walks. Paul gave us a great recommendation for a pub after graduation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on friendly staff alone. However the grounds were also lovely with a pond and greenery surrounding it. The rooms ere lovely and warm with comfy pillows too. There was lots of parking available on site too! Julia made sure our rooms were very clean and tidy.

Stopped here for 2 nights. Perfect location. Nice and clean Rooms large and spacious we had a privilege room. Only fault was spring water left instead of still. Also room was very hot well the whole hotel was very hot. Bathroom in room could do with a update. Pool sauna and steam was really nice pool was cold but was really refreshing. Breakfast was lovely can't fault it lots of choices even gluten / vegetarian others. Hotel staff was very friendly Lisa and nichola on reception lovely and bubbly. Would definitely say again. Food in the restaurant upstairs was a small portion for the price.

The Hotel itself is fine it is in a pleasant garden location in a nice area of Sheffield. The staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast very nice and plentiful. Unfortunately the evening meals and the restaurant were a problem. We had booked half board and when the menu came a number of the choices were at extra cost. (See photos) for my wife and I to order seasonal vegetables at a extra cost of £9 for two carrots two parsnips and 10 fine beans was ridiculous. The Restaurant and Bar area was so cold that diners were wearing outdoor clothing. The menu was the same every night. Our room 336 had an ill fitting window which we had to make several attempts to close. The drinks again see photo were extremely expensive. You excellent staff were fielding off several complaints from Diners regarding time taken to be served. I was disappointed with the Kenwood Hall Hotel and would not staff here again.

Partner was put up due to a problem with a tenancy and disability, meaning there was a prolonged stay. The mattress was torn, and the springs were broken and poking out. This issue was constantly passed between departments, but at the time of writing, it is STILL unresolved 2 months later. Hot water is spotty at best, with it often not working at all. Ceiling lights are nonexistent; everything is lit by bedside-style lamps. Whole place seems dated, barely passable paint jobs clearly trying to cover up what needs to be full refurbishment. Events are constantly going on, often past 1 in the morning. Internet constantly drops, often for multiple hours, and at all times struggles with streaming or gaming. Some staff were great, clearly enjoying working there and doing their best. Others, however, came across as quite rude and condescending. Housekeeping often ignores the do not disturb sign, and more than once I've had to go hunting down towels and bedding after they were taken and not replaced. Oh, and randomly, you'll get a waft of raw sewage from somewhere a few times a week. I don't know if it's from the poorly fitting single-glaze windows or some dodgy plumbing but we've been woken up by the smell multiple times. I can honestly say I had a much more enjoyable stay at the easy hotel I stayed at the month prior and at a half the price it advertises at. I don't know how this place has a 4-star rating, though seeing Trip Advisor and the stars dip over the years convinces me it's purely due to nobody updating the websites.
