Quite authentic, and nice big steins of beer. The only flaw is that it’s so popular, it’s a bit slow to place an order at the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, especially my goulash. I’ll try the schnitzel next time.

We had a great day today at the Munich Cricket Club - we tried the fondue and it was delicious. A great selection of sausages, bread, padrone peppers and mushrooms with a tasty cheese fondue. Tried the beer selection a nice way to try different beers. And you must try the apple strudel it was very tasty, the top and bottom crust was nice a crispy, the apples were tender and topped with berries. You choice of cream or traditional custard. And if fondue is your thing there at some amazing selections of German dishes. I would highly recommended

It's a German beer hall/pub. As you might imagine they have a number of German beers. You can get a stein of beer, which is quite big. Decided it was too much if no one liked it. Tried a beer flight. Overall the beers were ok, but none were outstanding. There's also cocktails, but no mocktails. Options for the non-alcoholic drinkers were limited. Tried a herbal lemonade. There was no strong herbal taste. Worried it might be medicinal, but it was a weak lemonade basically. We came on a Saturday evening in September. Just in time as happy hour ended at 8pm. No oompah band at this time though. There's food too. You can get Bavarian dishes like a platter of sausages, pork knuckle, etc. Service charge was included in the bill. Slow to be served at the bar as it was quite busy. We sat outside, but there's room inside and possibly downstairs as well as the ground floor.
