The venue is nestled within 83 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds which feature a picturesque three-acre lake. The idyllic setting provides perfect backdrops for all of your important wedding photographs.
Whether you are planning a grand celebration or an intimate affair with your nearest and dearest, your wedding at the Ardencote is sure to be perfect. The dedicated team will be on hand every step of the way to support you throughout your plans and help you create lifelong memories. We also offer a wedding package which can be personalised to suit you with the help of our events’ team.
There are two fantastic venues to choose at the Ardencote: The Manor House and The Lakeside. Both venues offers something truly unique and special. The Manor House offers you a dream, fairytale-style setting for your celebrations, combining traditional style and elegance with all the modern amenities of a luxurious hotel. The Lakeside, an unforgettable waterside location, offers a unique Wedding Island which is licensed for civil ceremonies between April and October.
The happy couple can enjoy their first night of married life in the Bridal Suite, complete with a full English breakfast in the morning. The newlyweds stay is included in our wedding package, but we also offer guest accommodation at special wedding rates.

February 2025Lovely stay. Food was excellent as was the service in the bar and restaurant. Room was spacious and quiet with a lovely double aspect across the fairway and lawns but bed rather too hard for our taste. Very clean with all facilities. Spa facilities were adequate but many lockers broken and pool water a little chilly but jacuzzi was lovely. Found reception staff at the spa rather unfriendly and system not explained. On asking for further information, we were made to feel a little second class as we were on a cheaper ‘leisure’ rather than ‘spa’ break.

January 2025Has given itself 4 stars, which it may have been many years ago. Certainly not now. It's a nice hotel in a picturesque area with lovely grounds. Needs work to bring it back up to scratch. Good value for the winter deal, but I wouldn't pay much more. The spa was a bit of a letdown for my wife. Not really at the level advertised. Dinner was good, but breakfast was just an average buffet.

December 2024Destination spa was very good and worth visiting for a spa day but it doesn't feel like they know who to pitch to in terms of clientele. Starter and main for dinner was excellent but then the cheese board was terrible - cheap cheese and stale crackers. The breakfast wasn't good, with cheap produce of poor quality. After such a lovely/quality main course for dinner, these things felt like a let down. The dining area didn't feel intimate for dinner as it's the same space you go for breakfast and lunch - bright lights and lacking any ambience. We won't rush to go back.

March 2025I am absolutely appalled by the customer service I received when trying to book a stay at this hotel. While the receptionist initially helped me navigate the website, my card was declined, and when I called back to ask for alternative payment options, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. I was told the only way to book was through a banking app (which I don’t have) and that coming in person to secure the booking wasn’t possible either. When I asked for further clarification, the receptionist shockingly hung up on me! If customer service isn’t a priority here, perhaps some staff should reconsider their career choice. Hospitality should be about helping customers, not turning them away with attitude. Very disappointing experience!
