A short walk from Hyde Park with stunning views over the leafy Westbourne Terrace lies Roseate Hotels & Resorts’ luxury boutique hotel, Roseate House London.
The opulent auberge offers a stunning view of the street once described as the ‘finest in London’ facing St James Church, where Oscar Wilde espoused. Roseate House London features 48 luxurious rooms and suites spread across three mid-19th century, Grade-II townhouses built in 1842, restored to the original allure and charm of their rudimentary Victorian architecture.
Intimate and cosy surroundings are complemented with a design that re-invents the traditional hotel bar whilst still retaining the character of a 19th Century quintessentially British townhouse. Original, period features and artwork are enhanced by luxurious spaces to celebrate, relax and unwind. The Hyde offers an exclusive retreat away from the cut and thrust of bustling central London

Roseate House London is a beautiful hotel in a historic building in the middle of London, close to Paddington Station. We had a room in the basement, but don't worry: spacious, clean room furnished with great attention to detail: antique furniture, fruit and water as a welcome, Nespresso with capsules magically refilled every day, bathrobes and full bathroom amenities. And it's so, so quiet. And then it's about people (I don't want to use the word staff): warm welcome, attentive and responsive to your wishes (thanks to Irina and colleagues). Absolutely: Have a signature drink at the cocktail bar. The bartender from Nepal (sorry I didn't remember the name) is open to any drink requests, it all creates a great atmosphere and a feeling of being welcome. Thank you very much!

We had a wonderful night for our anniversary, we had an unexpected treat of cheese, crackers and Prosecco delivered. We booked a suite as we took our baby daughter with us, the travel cot was up when we got there and the room was amazing., lovely reception staff, lovely manager and bar staff, we had a lovely time. Will recommend to others, and we will be back!

4 stars feels a little light but I have always felt that 5 has to be reserved for times when every single thing is perfect and there were free puppies and rainbows. It's in a great location and everything is neat and tidy. A nice place to come back to after tromping around London all day. We would definitely stay there again. The front desk was extremely helpful, and the bellhop (Oleh I think he was called?) was really nice. The bartenders were incredibly kind but at times seemed stretched too thin. Wait times for drinks were a tad longer than they should have been. The rooms were well-appointed and clean. This is super minor but it's a pet peeve of mine when hotels offer coffee pods: figure out a way to label them OR just leave the original packaging. The pods are often unmarked and it's nice to know if you're getting decaf or regular. The plumbing fixtures are really nice and I liked that they were older/solid, but they need a tune-up. As does some of the bathroom caulking. But again: GREAT place and very good value. I will be recommending Roseate House to friends and family.
