December 2024Had a lovely Roast this afternoon, the staff were lovely and quick to assist with our special requests. The cauliflower cheese was delicious and I asked for my beef rare which the staff had absolutely no issue with. Lovely meal and lovely service. We also had a baked cookie for dessert which was delicious.

December 2024Had a lovely meal one lunchtime but the restaurant was empty. The reason? It was freezing cold with no heating. We sat with our coats on. Thought we'd try again but, again, the restaurant was cold and empty. Didn't fancy eating and paying for a decent meal sat in the public bar but away from the fire. Please warm up your resrsurant and then advertise more. You have a lot to offer, your food is very good but nobody wants to eat in a cold pub.
