The Mercure Haydock Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million refurbishment.   From the minute you walk through the doors you and your guests will be impressed with our stunning decor and elegant surroundings.
Externally we have the appearance of a Georgian-style building set within beautifully landscaped gardens.  Internally we offer a modern, yet contemporary luxury.
The Hotel is designed around a courtyard, perfect setting for any romantic occasion.
The Mercure Haydock Hotel has three wedding suites to choose from, all of which are flexible and can be set out to suit your exact requirements. The Grand Marquee, set within the courtyard, is our largest option and can accommodate up to 220 guests. The silk-draped marquee comes complete with its own private bar, sparkling chandeliers and a state-of-the-art Bose sound system.
Alternatively, the Racecourse Suite offers a unique ambience with sophisticated lighting, permanent dance floor and private bar. The suite can hold up to 150 guests for a lively celebration. The Beechers Restaurant which has also benefited from the recent refurbishment is also the perfect setting for smaller, more intimate occasions.
Whether you’re planning a large, lavish event or an intimate celebration with your nearest and dearest, Mercure Haydock Hotel allows you the freedom and flexibility to have the day of your dreams. From a string quartet arrival to a disco for the evening’s festivities, our dedicated, experienced wedding co-ordinators are on hand to ensure you have everything you need.

We always come here when we visit family. Our nephew had had his wedding here too. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay today as we were served by a young man called Joey who was extremely polite and his service skills were impeccable. We were looked after well. Exceptional service

Terrific event at the Mercure Haydock Hotel tonight. Our waiter, James, was the standout. Caring, conscientious and helpful throughout. Helping myself and my table enjoy our evening to the fullest. He's a testament to good customer service.

Claire in the dining room provided excellent service. Found me a table even though it was busy. My starter was cold but she got straight onto my main and complimentary drink. Was cheerful and professional throughout.

Had a pleasant stay at Mercure Haydock Hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. It was a bit chilly at first, but once I figured out the heater, it was fine. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A few small downsides: drinks are quite pricey (£10 for a gin and tonic), and the car park costs £10 per night, which is surprising given the location (St. Helens, where there isn’t much around). Also, the window view included a tent, seemingly left over from COVID times. Overall, a good stay with nice rooms and great service—just be mindful of extra costs.

Stayed at hotel as we had to attend a family funeral. Although we were with a large family contingent we were asked to leave the dining room at breakfast as we had not paid. Our group was the only one there. We were not eating but we had bought coffee in the bar. So upsetting to be separated from family with no justification but too overwhelmed to argue with those on duty.
