Couldn't fault it, fantastic sweeping views from the room. Room was well equipped, huge bathroom, comfy bed, and very warm (if you want it to be, you can turn radiators off). Great location, free parking which bearing in mind how close you are to town, beach and headland is worth a lot. Staff were always very pleasant.

The hotel team were amazing really helped set up the room for my boyfriend 30th! Views were lush. Breakfast was lush. Only issue is the pool was so cold, the hot tub wasn’t hot and the steam room wasn’t set up. Only use the spa in the evening. So it has time to set up. You can go early when it’s quiet first thing but everything cold.

Absolutely beautiful grand old hotel retaining lots of original features alongside modern comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, we ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The only points to make are that the restaurant was chilly, and the car park is really difficult to maneuver.

Staff were so worth it! Phil and Rachel at the front desk were phenomenal. Maintenance was spot on with promptness even with all other issues to fix. The night porter Andrew was super polite and a pleasure to interact with. Sky and Andrew in the restaurant were a delight to see each day.

Just had a simple one night stay as a pre birthday treat for my wife. Staff very welcoming, and we had a lovely room on the first floor with sea view ( just a shame about the flat roof outside of the windows, never mind can’t have everything) Room was very well equipped, the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely, with a selection of toiletries, and selection of towels and individual bathrooms. We stayed to visit a certain restaurant that was a short walk from the Atlantic, but unfortunately it was closed, so ventured into the town itself to eat. The breakfast room offers fantastic views, and the menu is great, as well as the normal continental offerings. Special word of thanks goes to the breakfast manager Sue, an extremely pleasant lady !
