Located in Skipton, the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, and sitting alongside the Leeds Liverpool Canal, the 96-bedroom Rendezvous Hotel can cater from four to 400 people. We have many years’ experience in organising a full range of events, from gala dinners to black-tie balls, from dinner dances to product launches, and from AGMs to company fun days. However, while space and experience are important, we also understand that you need the confidence and reassurance that your chosen venue always has everything in hand. At the Rendezvous, from the very start, and throughout the event itself, you will have one of our managers working with you, giving you that much needed peace of mind.

The Winterburn Suite takes it’s name from the picturesque village of Winterburn in Malhamdale. It is a mid sized room that can be set up to suit your individual requirements. An interlinking door to the Malham suite makes it perfect as a break out or syndicate room.

The staff are amazing. The rooms are huge with a comfy sofa. The food was delicious. The location right beside the canal is amazing, and the fact you can walk along the towpath into town an added bonus. You cross the bridge at the back of the hotel, and you are in the hills. More than just dog friendly, it seems all the staff are dog lovers. Highly recommend

Visited for the second time. The greeting at reception was really welcoming, unfortunately the service in the bar and at breakfast wasn't so good. I had to ring the night porter number to get someone to serve in the ar at around 6pm on the Friday evening when a queue was building up. Excellent location for a walk along the tow path in to town. Around £5 for a taxi. Used the pool which was nice. Lovely bathroom. Only downside with our room was it was very warm in there

I have to say it's a mixed bag for this review. We had a Canal view room and the views from our room were stunning. The bar and restaurant were very nice and the restaurant also overlooked the canal which was lovely. The breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Our room was quite tatty in places the bath panel skin was peeling off and lampshades were also completely worn. The spa area also looked tatty in places. Not major I know!! I understand the hotel is under new ownership and they are refurbishing it step by step. The reason for the mixed bag review is simple for all its little issues the staff were excellent and my wife and I would definitely stay again as the location is amazing. You can leave the car and walk along the canal into Skipton. It takes 30 - 40 minutes. This hotel will be top notch when the refurb is completed. Thanks

Stayed several times at this hotel and have usually been satisfied. However the new bar and restaurant drinks prices have completely changed our view. £12.25 for a glass of wine is absolutely outrageous, as is £7.50 for a pint of Guinness. Pre, during or after dinner drinks can cost more than the meal itself. Won’t be rushing back, which is a pity because the canal side setting is superb.

Breakfast cold plates cold evening meal service very slow had to wait along time for sweet.room tiered toilet to low & seat wouldn't stop up .Just needs updating & a good look at the small things.we had booked for two nights but stayed just one night couldn't sit on the toilet & needed to go tall people need tall toilets the toilet was for infants at an infants school not for grown ups. A real shame that the owners don't seem to invest in keeping this hotel on top with the maintenance & carpets. Also designated rooms for dogs & children. Our friends looked at their room & they went straight home totally put them of & our rooms were superior rooms didn't see anything superior, I'm very sorry but felt that these statements had to be said to wake up the investors, they are running these hotels down & taking all the value out of them Steven cumbria
