March 2025We were looking for somewhere to have an evening meal and found this lovely old pub. We loved it the moment we walked through the door and we got a really warm welcome from Rick & Izzy, and the locals too. The food was absolutely delicious. Ryan, the chef, presented us with the best pasta carbonara and burger & chips we've had. Highly recommended. We will definitely visit again.

April 2025I was sat outside in the pub garden with some friends, and the owner let out their 2 dogs, which they know are aggressive, with no leads or muzzles and completely unprovoked it runs up and bites my back as i’m sat on the bench. When I then tell the staff what happening, they all just respond with “oh we know the dog is aggressive”. Why would you let your dog out off leash in an area where customers are sitting if you know it is aggressive? I will definitely not be returning and everyone should be aware of this especially with children or other dogs.
