Grocer to the Queen and most of her predecessors since 1707, this venerable institution has five private dining spaces. On the fourth floor, the Drawing Room is a light, airy space for up to 80, while the Tasting Room lends itself to lunches, dinners and afternoon teas. At lower-ground level, medieval stoneware and decorative panelling create an intimate atmosphere in the Crypt, which suits wine tastings and dinners. The Boardroom – the venue of choice for Fortnum’s own directors for more than a century – is a secluded space for meetings. The Gallery restaurant seats 100 and can be hired exclusively for private events.
At the heart of our elegant Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon is The Tasting Room - a beautifully intimate setting for a private lunch or famous Fortnum's Afternoon Tea.
Officially opened in 2012, The Tasting Room makes the perfect setting to sample culinary delights that range from breakfasts, lunches, private dinners, and of course our afternoon tea.
Tea is a tradition at Fortnum’s that goes back more than 300 years, so a visit is a must. Our buyers seek out and source only the finest teas, and our expert ‘Tearistas’ can guide you through some of the world’s best blends.

My favourite food shop in the UK, great selection, on the premium side but the quality justifies the price. Phenomenal at Christmas.

Have always wanted to visit this shop and it was didn't disappoint. It was our first visit and I was surprised to find out that my husband who is a London Black Taxi driver of 33 years and has drove past this shop millions of times had never been in it too. Anyway if there's one thing you must see is the beautiful Xmas calendar display all lit up on the outside of the building. It's a show stopper believe me. The shop itself was extremely busy but I loved it. I love to see shops busy and it never fazes me if there are long queues etc as this is also what Xmas is all about. However if you personally don't like queueing then pop up to the 3rd floor where the tills seem a little less busy. There is also a Xmas display that comes down in the centre gallery of the shop which is beautiful. Anyway if you're up in London this shop is well worth a visit and one that I will definitely make agsin. The doormen and staff are all very welcoming and polite. 5 star

Tea lovers can not miss Tea here Also Coffee, Confectionery, Jam, Cakes, Chocolate, freshly baked macaroon with exquisite flavours & porcelain, crockery are amazing fine quality here (though most of products are from Italy💕). No where has a such Christmas (& other seasons) atmosphere as quintessential English as Fortnum. Enjoy the shopping time or just wandering around beautiful things🎄🏆⭐️

What a lovely store! It's filled with lovely blends of tea, biscuits, chocolates, and more. It's the most expensive store in the UK, but the quality is amazing. Be careful.. as I ended up paying a fortune! The store is beautifully decorated around Christmas from inside and out. Highly recommended.
