August 2024“A Culinary Masterpiece: Unmatched Service and Exceptional Dining in Central London” Our recent visit to the prestigious Searcys At The Gherkin restaurant in the heart of London was nothing short of extraordinary - an experience that ranks among the best I’ve had in the city. From the moment my partner and I entered, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance, where every detail seemed meticulously curated to elevate our evening. The service, led by Martins, José, and Leonardo, was nothing short of exemplary. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our celebration feel exceptionally special, turning a birthday dinner into a truly memorable occasion. Every interaction, from the initial greeting to the final farewell, was infused with care and professionalism, demonstrating their deep understanding of what it means to truly look after their guests. The food itself was a revelation. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also a testament to the chef’s mastery, marrying flavors and textures in ways that delighted and surprised the palate. The waitstaff's seamless service added to the experience, with every course delivered with impeccable timing and grace. José and Leonardo’s exceptional service and kindness deserve special mention, as it significantly enhanced our experience, making our celebration all the more memorable. We left with a deep appreciation for the effort and care that went into every aspect of our evening, and a strong desire to return - perhaps next time as an Embassy, to share the experience with others. For anyone seeking a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, this restaurant is a must-visit. It’s a place where exceptional food, service, and atmosphere come together to create something truly special.

January 2025Can't visit London without seeing the skyline, and it'd be hard to get a better experience than at Searcys! Everyone was great and the views at night were breathtaking! One tip: try to sit directly to the left near the corner. It's open to the restaurant below everywhere else and there's a very pronounced glare blocking the view everywhere except there. It also looks out over the London Bridge and Tower, which are lovely.

November 2024Food is fine but definitely isn't the best, as there are too many better afternoon teas around London. I guess everyone is going there for an experience of being in the Gherkin itself, not the best finger sandwiches, scones, or the finest patisserie. Food can be refilled until you have enough. Tea doesn't go beyond the most ordinary such as peppermint, earl grey, camomile, etc. Service is satisfactory. Nice vibe as expected with the bonus Xmas vibe. The price is correct for what you get. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
