After seeing so many complaints about this cinema, I have a few things to mention that may help. Firstly on price, yes, it is more expensive than most cinemas. The reason the price is so comparatively high is due to the quality of the business and it's offerings. Let me explain. From the moment you step through the doors into Everyman, you are transported to a world where cinema and the silver screen reign supreme. There are no obnoxious screens showing the latest A-list blockbuster which is bound to be forgotten in a few weeks. No huge displays of advertised drinks and food, instead, the walls are adorned with posters of movies from years gone-by. The whole affair seems far less commercial than a run-of-the-mill cinema, and this kind of decor requires upkeep which is not cheap. Secondly, the seating and arrangements within each screen. I have seen many movies at Everyman and everytime, have been treated to a comfortable viewing experience not unlike the one on offer at home. Everyman - for the duration of the movie - is your home, with people ensuring you are fed and watered via the in-screen ordering system and the bar/concession stands being tended throughout the day by some of the happiest people I have ever dealt with. Thirdly, the food and drink. Again, the prices are higher than the average due to the quality of the offerings. Everything is prepared lovingly and with due attention, and served in an aesthetically pleasing way. No dehydrated hot dogs or soggy chips will you experience here at Everyman, only good quality food and a taste sensation for the ages. Lastly, the movie itself. The screens are wonderfully maintained and the audio is second-to-none. There are no blemishes ruining the experience as has often happened at Cineworld and the like, instead, the screen glows with the only thing it should, the movie you paid to see. Everyman combines the feel of a by-gone era, with modern technology and a comfortable 'at-home' feeling to deliver the best cinema experience you will ever have, would you come here for every movie you see? No, because it's not THAT kind of cinema. It's a cinema to be enjoyed like a good whiskey or a good cheese, special occasions only made more special by being held here. Whether it is your anniversary, birthday or date-night, Everyman has you covered - trust me on that one.

Such an amazing experience recently, especially the cocktails. They were far better than many of the overpriced cocktails within the area and reasonably priced. Also the staff were very friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend and visit again 5*

Visited for Jaws, one of the throw back films. Included in the price is a drink and popcorn. We’ve never been to Everyman before. Nobody was at the front desk, just a sign asking customers to go up stairs. No problem. But the member of staff was just a little unhelpful. No “hello have you got a booking?” No “what film are you coming to see?”. Almost wondered if we’d make a mistake. We were advised to sit and read the menu and then he would “sort out the throwback thingymaboby”. When the screen was ready we ordered our drinks at the bar, nothing extravagant, a milkshake and a latte. These aren’t included in the throwback thingymaboby. We only found this out when we were asked to pay and I said we already had. “So you don’t want these drinks?” No I want the ones included in the ticket price. You know. The thirty five quid for a 70’s film that I could stream at home!!! We chose wine and a coke. “What colour wine?” Again not given an option of wine or even told if there was a choice. We were never offered the popcorn. I know this sounds a small thing but some welcoming helpful staff who don’t make you feel stupid would mean I wouldn’t mind spending so much on a cinema visit. I’m unlikely to return to Everyman.
