January 2025This is the second time visiting this cinema and same comments - it’s a lovely set up and cinema with a stunning roof top (summer), but Curzon please do something about the bar staff - young inexperienced and quite disinterested with not great customer service skills. On both occasions we had to return the glass of Prosecco as it was flat and not cold enough. This time, empty glasses left on the tables and an overriding aroma of burnt cooking fat. Spoils what could be a great experience.

February 2025We attended Curzon Kingston yesterday for a Valentine's showing of Bridget Jones. We knew it was likely to be heaving (it was), and so had some sympathy with the staff as clearly not enough had been hired for a busy day To start we were told to go into an earlier screening and it was only when we queried this that the host said he wasn't looking properly at our tickets We ordered food at the bar and it arrived about 15 minutes before the film started at our seats - two pizzas, chips and two drinks Although a small complaint, the elderflower G&T didn't taste of elderflower but the main complaint was with the pizzas. One arrived warm while the other arrived stone cold. I told our server this to which he replied, we will reheat this for you but we have 100s of orders coming in. I think being told that a pizza you've paid 12 quid for will be reheated instead of remade is appalling With the film about 15 minutes in and no pizza reappearing and only one of us having our food and the other not, I was forced to leave the film, interrupting those around me to look for the pizza. Having obtained it, I headed back in, only to discover that half was warm and half was still stone cold. At this point, so as not to disturb other guests, we ate what was warm and gave up on about half the pizza We regularly attend Curzon Kingston but were appalled at the unusual terrible service. Servers seemed flustered and the whole place understaffed - we appreciate it is a busy day but it key that those days go well and I felt like our experience was largely ruined as it made the whole film more stressful
